When I finally came-to, it was dark. It looked like I had been out for days. They had me on quite a lot of morphine, that must have been what kept me asleep for so long. I looked down at my body. There weren't as many bandages and I wasn't as badly bruised, though I still had plenty of stitches and smaller bandages. I didn't have a cast on anymore, just a splint. That was on my knee and another one all down my left arm. I was still hooked up to an IV and the usual other wires, not as many as before. I managed to unhook myself from all of it without gaining notice, wow the staff here seems lame. I got up and changed into jeans, a loose t-shirt and sneakers. I put on a sweatshirt just for the trip out, to try not to b thought of as the patient I am and in need of the help I was. I was getting out of here.
I left that hospital as quick as a cobra attacks it's prey. I didn't even sign out and I went completely unnoticed. Who would even put someone in a place that would run like that? I took off my sweatshirt and discarded of it, not even sure it was mine. I headed straight to Will, we needed to talk now.
