Dustin was the smartest guy I had a crush on, and the smartest person I have ever met, academically. Top noctcher, over achiever, teacher's pet, in short, he was the perfect dream student. He isn't the most attractive person in the entire world but he was very approachable, sporty and fun. He's three years older than me. Me and my best friend had a crush on him too, she had more advantages that me though, they were school busmates and they happen to be friends. His classroom is right in front of ours which is awesome. My friend and I would wait for him to go outside, when she'd say hi to him, he'll say hi back and just smile at me cause...well, he doesn't know my name. They joined this club together, it was the drama club. I got a little nelly to be honest. And since they're both smart, they got in MTAP. It's a math thing for people who are really good at math and at the end of the school year (or was it the middle) they would compete with different schools. When I got the chance to talk to him, I wasn't very friendly. I was...well, bitchy? Why? Well, apparently, people started telling him I liked him. I didn't know what to do! So there I was with my strong personality...yet, he was still nice. The only time I'd communicate with him in a nice way was through "Multiply". Yes, there were multiple times that I stalked his profile.

When he graduated, I started to have regrets. I wish I was nicer to him...we could have been friends. I tried being nice to him, but then I started to hear people talking, saying I'm flirting with him or they'd just spread gossip that I like him. So I just stopped being nice to him, and sadly, admired him from afar.

But that was years ago. Now, we're friends. I tried to break the ice and it worked. Well, I wouldn't hear anyone talking behind my back since it's been, i don't know, six years? And he totally forgot about everything. See? you could still make up for your mistakes...even if it's the most shallow...at least you fixed what you messed up! Regret free!
