some girl: why her????

I wonder the same thing strange lady.

Alex brought me on a hike! Okay, I can get behind this!

Alex: we are, hiking to the Hollywood sign!

Lauren: won't that take a day at least?

Alex: not if we go right away!

Lauren: imma beat you!

I sprinted up the hill first and Alex trotted along behind me

I stopped and so did Alex

Lauren: the loser, has to wear something the winner picks!

Alex: I'm down!

I shoved Alex a little but then he caught up

40 minutes later

I finally made it to the top! Geez, where's alex?

Alex: finally you made it!

I turned around and I see Alex sitting on a picnic blanket eating a peanut butter and jelly sandwich

Lauren: how long have you been up here?

Alex looked at his wrist pretending there was a watch

Alex: about 15 minutes ago! Wanna join?

Lauren: if you have any sort of drink!

Alex: what kind of picnic has no drinks?

We ate until it got dark.

Lauren: wow! I don't see that many stars often.

Alex: me neither.

Lauren: when I was little I thought there was only three stars.

I pointed up at the sky counting three with my finger

Alex: this is like, cloud watching. Do you see any stars shaped like things?

Lauren: well, I see a triangle.....

I tackled Alex and we lyed down laughing at each other

Alex: to be honest, I hate this new school.

Lauren: what's there to hate?

Alex: the girls constantly looking and following me...

Lauren: I don't get why girls are like that.

Alex: that's why I like you. Your the only one I can actually talk to at this school.

Lauren: what about alec?

Alex: alec is more like, "dude your so lucky girls are all over you!!! Your such a ladies man!" Kinda guy. He's doesn't like sappy stuff, or talking about feelings or anything. Which, is someone I need at this point in my life.

Lauren: well you'll always have me!

Alex: your the only girl who hasn't tried to break into my locker and touch all my stuff.

Lauren: who has done that??

Alex: some girl named, Mia? I think? She wrote her name in red pen on my locker.

Why would Mia do that?

Lauren: that's really sucks. That isn't weird it's just plain old mean.

Alex: and some girl named Remi tried to catch the football I was throwing at alec

Alex: and Tiffany tried to touch my hair.
