Chapter 2

Rose's POV

"The girl you saw me talking to, was Lalisa. One of the baddest girls here."

Jisoo was telling me about all of the students in the school. She seemed to be very familiar with everyone, almost as if she were a teacher.

"There's only three known people here. That's Lalisa, Jennie Kim, and I. The other students are like fans. But I treat everyone equal here," she explained.

I smiled, listening to everything. "Are you guys friends?" I ask. She nods, and responds. "Yes. We are."

I raise a brow, without understanding. How can you be friends, but fight? Jisoo seems to realize, so she explains.

"Lisa is the rebellious one. Everyone is scared of her. It's a surprise she's made it this far here. I try to help her, but all she focuses on is dancing. I've told her plenty of times that she could still be a dancer with a highschool degree but...she doesn't listen. Other than all the fighting, we are honestly the closest.

I nod, and she continues..

"Jennie is like the queen bee here. She has the most friends, just because of her popularity. People think they'll become popular, just because of her. But they don't. Her and I get along great though."

Jisoo thinks for a second and then continues. "I get all a's. I study a lot, and I'm friends with a bunch of teachers. I'm at the top of my class. Many people just try to be my friend, because I'm smart."

It gets quiet as she stares at the ceiling. I consider speaking up, but she does instead.

"What about you?"

I hum and shrug. "Nothing much. I'm from Australia. My life was pretty boring there..but I played the guitar for my school's music class a lot."

Jisoo nodded and smiled. "I think you'll like it here. I'll see you later, okay? I've gotta get to class."

With that she walked away.

Looking around the hallways alone, for my next class is when I realized...

This was going to be a stressful year.
