Chapter 4

Rose's Pov

"Finally, I can go home.."

School was finally out.All of the students were going their separate ways.

The day wasn't as stressful as it started. I didn't see the three mysterious girls again. But little did I know, they'd be waiting for me outside.

When I walk out of the school doors, they're standing there. Almost as if they were waiting for me.

Going down the steps, I walk past them. Hoping they didn't notice me.

"So far, so good.." I mumble as I keep walking. They didn't notice me, so I can go home and-

"Hey, Rosé?"

I shrug and turn around. Jisoo stands there with a smile on her face, as she holds two school books.

"We wanted to know if you'd come to Jennie's house tonight." Jisoo says. "We'd like to give you something, to welcome you to the school."

Unsure of what to say, I stand there quietly. Why would they give me something?

Lisa steps forward and shrugs "you don't have to come, you probably have better things to do..." She smirks and rolls her eyes, before walking away. The others soon begin to follow.

"I'll come," I say quickly, causing them to stop and turn around.

What did I get myself into?

A few hours later, I was at Jennie's house.

It wasn't big, yet it wasn't small either. Her parents were obviously wealthy, and now I see why she is popular.

Her closet is full of expensive clothing, her room has jewels everywhere, and she has her own maid.

Speaking of maid..

She had made us tea. It tastes fresh, almost as if she was a natural at making tea.

As I sip the tea from the cup, Jisoo speaks up.

"We wanted to give you this gift, to welcome you to the school."

Jennie holds a box and opens it, revealing a pearl charm, that is broken into a piece.

"What is it?" I ask, causing Lisa to laugh.

"It's a broken piece of a heart charm. You can put it on anything." 

I smile and take the charm, sticking it into my backpack.

Maybe they aren't so bad after all.
