Chapter 5

Rose's pov

By the time I got home, it was around midnight.

The girls had forced me to sing, after I had said that I could. After that, I regret ever saying anything at all.

They had asked me what other things I could do, and when I said I could play the guitar, they asked me to teach them.

Did they really think they could learn that fast?

I found out that Jisoo could sing also, and she loved doing so. Jennie said she could rap, and I wouldn't doubt it.

Lisa showed me her dancing, and it was amazing. I see why she'd want to be a dancer.

She didn't seem as sarcastic as she did when I first met her. I was happy about that.

The night went on like this.

Until I realized I had homework that I needed to do.

My family picked me up, and took me home. Right away, I went to my room and studied.

I fell asleep after putting the charm they had given me onto my backpack.

I hoped the next day would be a great day.

"Rose!"

As I walk up the school steps, Jisoo runs up to me with Jennie by her side.

I smile and greet them both, walking into the school. I open my iced tea, and sip it.

I didn't want to be late for class, so I kept walking as they followed behind me. Being late was considered disrespectful here.

"There's going to be a talent show, and the winner gets $100!"

(A/n) Before you attack me, I have no idea how much that is in Korean money. I'm assuming it's a lot, since 1 South Korean won is 0.00088 usa dollars or something. Thanks google!

I nearly spit out my tea.

"R-really?" I ask, stopping in place. Jennie nods and shrugs "you have to create a group with 2 or more members though, or it won't count."

Nodding in disappointment, I begin walking away.

"We are planning on making a group, so that we can be in the show. We were wondering if you would like to join?" Jisoo asks with a smile.

My birthday is on the 25th, so I may or may not have time to update before then.
