Rose's Pov
Going to school the next day was exciting.
I knew that everyone was talking about the talent show, planing ways on how to beat everyone else. When I walked into the school, I was right. Mostly girls were gathered in circles in the hallway, talking about the show that was soon to come.
Jennie was the one that was planning everything out for us. A surprise right? But she fits the role of a 'leader.' At least that's what we had all agreed on.
"What will we call ourselves?"
We were all walking to our lockers when Lisa started thinking out loud. It was a good question, since none of us had started to talk about names and such.
Stopping, we all thought. After a minute of complete silence -and people nearly stepping over us- Jennie spoke up. "Rose should pick the name."
I shrug as the bell rings. Saved by the bell, am I right? "I'll think about it," I say with a smile and begin to walk to my first class.

All day, I had thought of all of the names possible.
Nothing unique came to mind. At lunch, I had listened in on some of the groups of students talking. 5 girls named themselves Red Velvet, while 7 guys named themselves BTS. Jisoo has said the group Im Nayeon was in was named Twice.
Great, right?
Not for us, since all I thought of was YinYang, but that sounded... Terrible. One side was dark, and one was bright, but that word was used too much nowadays. White and black.
It had to be something unique
We are all sitting on a bench outside of a park, listening to Lisa rant about her teachers, and how they don't think she'll improve her grades before we graduate. Jisoo kept telling her to study more, which caused a small argument.
Shrugging, I see a black building down the road next to a pink one.
Why would those colors be together if one's lively and pretty, while the other is dark and deadly?
Suddenly, I realized what I said.
"Hold on,"I interrupt Jisoo and Lisa, causing them -and Jennie- to look at me strangely. "I've got it!"
"Got what?" Jennie says. I smile and point at the buildings.
"Blackpink."
