"Well there's a first time for everything!"

He stated with a smile on his face and his eyes back on the road. As the ride continued and conversation went on I found myself staring at him. I noticed how his deep blue eyes sparkled, and how his hair was gray in some spots on his head, and how he had a charming smirk on his face all the time.

"Do you like what you see?"

He turned my direction as he stopped at a red light.

"Yeah, I do."

"My view is probably better, if we're telling the truth."

He drove us into the parking lot of a very fancy Italian restaurant, and got out quickly to open my door.

"7:30 reservations for Simon K."

The waitress led us to a room on the back patio, away from the other people eating.

"Wow! You really went all out huh."

"Well if we stay together forever, I want to have a nice memory of our first date. Even though mcdonald's sounds really good right now!"

"It's does doesn't it."

"Okay let's ditch the whole fancy crap and go to mcdonald's."

"Can I have two double quarter pounder meals with cheese, and two oreo mcflurry's. And to drink can we have Hi-c orange, please and thank you. Oh and some ranch!"

"There's this lake right up the street, do you wanna go over there?"

"Sounds amazing!"

"Tell me a bit about yourself Adele."

"Well I'm from Tottenham, I'm 23 years old, I have a dog named Louie Armstrong, and I'm a singer and songwriter."

"Wait, your the Adele! Like the one on the radio who goes 'Never mind I'll find someone like youuuuu' your her!?"

"I mean yeah, but I hope the version you hear on the radio sounds a lot better then that!"

After we laughed Simon went on to tell me about his life.

"I'm 37 years old, I am from New York city, but I moved here when I was ten, I'm the CEO of the charity drop4drop, which gets water to people who have very minimal or its not drinkable, and I don't have any pets but I have a two year old daughter."

"You have kids! That's amazing! Simon, if this relationship lasts as long as I feel like it will, can I meet her?"

"Of course, baby! Oh sorry is it to early to call you that?"

"In any other instance I would say yes, but no. It's not."

He pulled me in for a hug, and I knew that I already felt like we were soulmates. I'm really dumb for rushing things bc I should now better than to care so quickly, but I can't help it with him. While I was looking at the lake, and all the pretty stars I noticed Simon staring at me. I blushed.

"Adele?"

"Yes Simon."

"Can I please kiss you?"

Caught off guard, I looked him in the eye and smiled brightly.

"Of course you can!"
