Noor's day was going really well. She wasn't as nervous or scared as before. Noor happened to meet 1 more new person. With a hope that this time her friendship would last longer, she seems to be really happy.
She couldn't deny that she was babbling at one point of time. Whenever she gets nervous, she babbles. But she was desperate. She was desperate to have a friend. Any friend. In her entire school life she was alone. No friends.
Noor has this thought inside her mind of going out with her friends. Exploring various cafes which provide yummy pizzas and beers. Watching english movies. Doing everything people usually do in college.
Despite of being scared and nervous, Noor has another side of her. The fun side. She is a tomboy since her childhood and she is blunt. Whatever she thinks she speaks. She is honest. She loves joking around. Make people laugh. She have this side too.
Being an introvert only close friends can experience this side of her.
Her day went well she made new friends- Risha, Nivaan and Siddhart.
All three of them told Noor about a College Myth
'the people you meet on your orientation day are probably not the people you'll end up with.'But she ignored it. She believed that myths are just myths and they cannot be real. She has a habit of taking things lightly. She doesn't let anything ever effect her after the incidents she had faced in her past.
Noor has a feeling to write her emotions about this day in her journal. She's been Journaling since 9th or 10th grade. When things got difficult for her to speak. She pours down her emotions regarding everything in her journal. Things she wished she might say someday.
She walked outside of the college only to see her dad waiting for her in the car. Her new friends started laughing.
"You came here with your dad?" Nivaan said. Laughing at Noor's face.
And the other two joined him.
"Yes, my Dad is a bit insecure about me. So what?" said Noor.
Though she was completely and utterly embarrassed still she controlled her feelings in front of them. She walked fast towards the car and sat down quietly.
"How was the college?" her dad asked.
"It was okay." she replied.
"How was it from inside?" "How were the kids?" "What did you do?" Her dad asked her many questions but all Noor was able to say was "okay"
Then her father stopped asking her questions thinking she might be tired. But, Noor was in her own little space. Looking outside from the window, taking in the view, the nature.
There is something in the nature, she thought, which makes her a bit cheerful. She likes to watch the trees, birds, flowers everything. And suddenly she realised she was home. She was thinking so much that she didn't know how an hour passed by.Noor's mother was so excited to see her daughter coming back from college. Her mother was waiting for Noor to fill her in with everything that happened in college. And Noor did. Though she avoided that embarrassment part. Other then that she told her mother everything.
Noor can't wait to be alone in her room to pour down everything in her Journal.
She love it that her parents don't hover over her all the time and they do give her privacy.
She changed her clothes, took her 'nice black pen' she smiled because this line reminded her of someone, opened her black Journal and started writing everything.----------------------------------------------
