Hide and seek

I still remember the day when that happened, it was so scary, some nights, in my dreams, I still see that man.

I was nine when this happened...

Me and my sister decided to play hide and seek in the middle on the night, we promised that we wouldn't talk loud or make any sound at all making sure that our parents wouldn't wake up.

My sister was the seeker and I was the hider, as my sister counted I ran upstairs into my room and decided to crawl into my bed, the room was really dark and the only light was the moon's light.

Then I started hearing a sound in the window, they were light taps on it, like someone was trying to open it, and I was right...

Someone entered trough my window, I don't know how he did that, after all, I was on the second floor.

I covered my mouth trying not to make any sound at all, I could feel my heart beating faster and faster.
But then everything went really bad. The small steps of my little sister telling me she was coming here got me paralyzed, the man started looking around finding a place to hide, and he went to the closet, I just heard the 'Click' on the closet telling me that he closed the doors.

Then, my sister entered my room, in a whispery tone she called out to me. I crawled out of the bed, like she found me, I started laughing acting normal like I didn't see the man, I pulled my sister out of the room and as I walked I told her.

"Hey, why don't we tell dad to play with us?" I said to her.

"Um, ok" I grabbed her rushing to my parents room, and woke my dad, as I told him that a man was in the house he called the police and told us to stay inside the room, my sister got scared as she started asking question about what was happening, I didn't want to tell her, so I kept quiet.

When the police arrived they caught the man, then he look at me and smiled, like he knew I saw him... I was scared, that smile, that creepy looking smile, haunts me till this day.

Ok but like, imagine yourself playing hide and seek and some weird ass man enters the room, that'll mess me up for life...
