In that archipelago, that booming province is calling me
The vocation of teaching, in that haven is what I could see
The richness of culture, Muslim people spread in every vicinity
Christian like me trying to live with them in sweet harmony
I woke up early that morning, found new hope to cling on
This frustrating life I have, I would like to change to dispatch
Suddenly my blithe face turned into a chili-red blush on
Not with love my heart shouts but of tragic I watched with no match
Bombings deafened the streets, wailing polluted the air
Cryings proliferated, houses burned while policemen dare
To control the situation, to fight out the lionhearted invader
In no seconds, life in the city bounded with enormous danger
Every pads I have dropped in that busy road that I take
I rush to the other side then back seeing their souls at stake
Hopes fade, dreams resolve, tears shed with nothing that I can make
To ease the pain of losing my coveted dreams with lachrymose fate
