At first I was confused, but then it hit me. Somebody must have broken into the house. Panic starts crawling up my legs. I'm scared, what if someone really broke in. I grab my phone and startle because I hear the noise again. It definitely comes out of the boys room. I walk to their door slowly and try to be quiet. Good thing, I have 911 on speed dial!
All of a sudden, I hear noises again, but they are different. Sounds like someone just opened a door. I grab a baseball bat from the wall and in a fast motion open the door. I start screaming and drop the bat.
What I see is a half naked Anthony starring at me.
"What did you want to do with that bat?", is the first thing he says. I'm frozen. Why can't I move?
He comes closer and gives me a hug. "How have you been?". I'm still in disbelieve, but I get myself to answer. "Fine! What are you doing here? Didn't you catch dinner with everyone?". His mouth starts to open, but he closes it again. What's wrong.
At this moment, I actually realise what's happening.
My mind starts to spin, how do I look. Why does it matter how I look? Oh my god, why am I so nervous? It's just Anthony! His mouth opens again and this time I get an answer. "I wanted to shower, so I stayed behind! You wanna order some dinner? Jake just texted me and said, that they were going out to the movies after dinner and it will be late when they come back.
Still shocked, I nod and turn around to go back and finish my workout.

After organising the whole room, even the bottles full of soap. I make my way downstairs. Anthony is sitting on the kitchen table, waiting for me. He's waiting for ME?! WOW! This time, I have to say more than two sentences. As I get closer, he asks: "Pizza?"
"Yassss!", wow, that sounded a little too enthusiastic.
Calm down Meg, calm down. Still only Anthony...
"Okay, Pizza it is!". He jumps off the table and gets closer to me. He shows me the menu and asks:"What do you want?". When he is this close to me, I can smell his cologne and it almost kills me. I don't even have time to think about food, when he already asks:"Share a margarita?", I just nod in agreement and he orders. "Oh and a salad would be nice.".
"Yeah, I know which one you want!", what, he nows what kind of salad I order? How?

After we order, I sit at my desk and try to get some work done. Anthony is sitting on the kitchen isle, scrolling through his phone. I can feel his eyes on me, but when I look up, he quickly looks down. I can't concentrate like this. But at least I'm trying to get some stuff done. I start to really work and forget that he is there. Then I can feel his hands on my shoulders, massaging my back. "You looked really tense, I thought this would help." I start to tense up even more, oh my god. What is he doing. I can't concentrate like this at all. But I don't want him to stop, so I act as I'm working on something super important. He slowly starts to go down my arms, when he reaches my hands, the door bell rings. I almost jump out of my chair, running for the door.
I swing open the door and almost scare the pizza delivery guy. I take the pizza and the salad and slowly close the door. As I turn around, I can feel see that Anthony hasn't moved and he looks really confused. I yell: "Sorry, just really hungry." and walk towards the kitchen isle. I sat the pizza down and pull out a chair, Anthy grabs another chair and sits as close to me as he possibly could, without sitting on my lap. We start to eat in silence, but quickly breaks it. "How were your last weeks? Lonely without me?", he laughs while he says the last part. "Okay, yeah WE all missed you!", I answer, trying to sound super chill.
"How was Ohio?", I look him right in the eyes.
WOW, I'm really impressed with myself, I'm so cool.
I can see that he kinda got nervous at the last question, why? What had happened?
"It was, I got to see my family and friends. It also gave me a lot of time to think....". He looked so sad and confused at the same time, what was wrong? What was going on?
