"Andrew may you get Hailee for me?" Anne scanned her plans.
"Uh, sure! What for?"
She sighed, "I told you I must not tell! No go!"
Within a second Andrew went to find Hailee. Luckily she was in the cafeteria with the nurses. She didn't have much so she hung with them. "Hailee?"
"Oh! Hi! Andrew right?"
"Yeah."
"What's up?"
"Anne needs you, she's in the library."
"Alright thanks Andrew." As Hailee headed down to Anne she began to wonder. She knocks. "Anne?"
"Hailee! Hi! Come in! Come in!" Anne patted a seat next to her as Hailee sat. "I looked at your records and saw you are quite the builder! Are you up for a task?"
"Depends what kind of task?"
"You must not tell anyone, but an apocalypse is coming, I am building a ray to help save the world. I need your help to build this!"
"Alright but what do I get out of it?"
"Oh sweet and happy days." Anne innocently smiled.
"Alright I'm in! When do we start?"
"Tomorrow! At dawn! Meet me here! Got it?" Anne rolled up her plans as she stood up.
"Got it." Hailee stayed and looked around. As Anne began to leave she spoke, "Ah Anne?"
"Yes, Hailee?"
Just say it! Ask her! "Are you going to the junk yard anytime soon?"
"Well yes I suppose why? You want to join?"
"Sure! Seems fun, maybe you can help me understand on all this building!"
"Most certainly!" Anne smiled and left the room.
Hailee sighed. "What am I going to do here? I can't even make friends! Ugh, what is wrong with me?"
Andrew wondering in the room looked at her, "uh Hailee, are you okay?"
"Hm? Oh! Yeah!" She smiled. A fake smile, but Andrew didn't know any better.
"Okay, well I'll be in the room if you need me or Anne? Okay?"
"Got it! Thank you!"
Andrew gave a thumbs up as he left. Soon a siren went off. A storm has been approaching and it seems to be here. "Andrew! Hailee! Follow me to the storm shelter!" Anne ran down to the shelters and locked them in as they all sat. One nurse followed them for safety reasons.
"There was food and all but from what the news reporter said, that won't last us." -Anne
