XIII: Aftermath

I finally made it to the hospital and I am walking down the hall to Bey's hospital room.

I came right here after I got off the jet I looked rough but I didn't really care I had to get to her.

I went into her room and seen Meek sleeping on the couch and Bey sleeping in the bed.

It was 4:30am so it was still early. I climbed into the bed slowly and pulled her close to me causing her to stir.

"Nika?" She said lowly.

"Yes baby it's me."

She clung on to me tight and burst into tears.

"It's going to be okay baby girl." I said rubbing her back and kissed her forehead.

"It's not going to be okay.. w-why did I have to lose my baby. I was really starting to get excited about the new life that I created."

"Everything happens in god's plans baby, he does everything for a reason it's not your fault. Stop crying." I wiped her tears away.

"I just can't help it." She cried harder and I started to tear up a bit then I realized I had to be strong for her.

I just laid there and comforted her as she cried. After about thirty minutes she stopped crying and sniffled.

"How did Jay take it?"

"He was hurt but he really wasn't ready for another baby. He just had one a week ago."

"Blue is still with him?"

"No, she went home with my mom he said he was going out of town for a couple weeks."

"Weeks?"

"Yeah he just wants to take some time for himself."

"Okay well I want to take Blue with me today."

"What about me?" She asks in a baby voice causing me to smile.

"You have to stay here until tomorrow Bey."

"Then can you wait and get her tomorrow?" She pouted.

"Fine I'll get her tomorrow you big baby."

She smiled and looking up at I looked down at her. I wanted to kiss her but I didn't know if she wanted to. She leaned in and I leaned in also. When our lips touched, it feel like fireworks went off; I have been waiting for her to kiss me for ages now and to have it happen was everything.

I deepened the kiss and she moaned in my mouth.

"Fuck." I heard a voice say lowly.

We both pulled apart and looked over at Meek watching us. We laughed at the look on his face.

"Oh don't mind me, keep going." He smirked.

I leaned in to kiss her but she moved back.

"Don't let him interrupt."
