Miyagi would be coming home soon and Shinobu had yet to grab his things he had left in the damn apartment. He sighed. It wasn't as if he were rushing too. The second he stepped in the genkan, he paused. The aroma of candles lingered in the air. Many books were neatly stacked in bookshelves, and not a single trace of papers stood scattered like he had thought. As much as a workaholic Miyagi was, his house was immaculate.

Running his hand through his thick, sandy locks of hair, he leaned against the wall. He thought about the last couple of days.

Shinobu didn't know what was more heartbreaking. Miyagi not returning his love or the fact that Miyagi refuses to acknowledge his love.

"We always choose the wrong people for ourselves," He thought bitterly, "After all, I chose you."
