4. Revelation

"Thank God! You're here, Miks!" Gab said as he saw Mika entered the door of their house. He volunteered himself to wait for Mika and let her other cousins to take a sleep. "We've been looking for you! San ka ba nanggaling? It's past 11 already!" Patuloy lang siya pagsasalita but Mika seems not in her own self, she just looked at him with emotionless expression. "Miks? Are you okay? Tell me, masama ba ang pakiramdam mo?"

"Y-yeah, I'm okay." She had thrown him a fake smile. "Pumunta lang ako sa Coffee shop. Sorry di ako nakapagpaalam." She replied weakly.

"Sana nagpasama ka sa akin." Gab.

"Uhm Gab, pwede bukas na lang tayo mag-usap, medyo pagod na 'ko." She then went upstairs without waiting for Gabby's reply.

Her actions made him feeling so uneasy but he just let it pass and thinks that maybe it's better to talk to her tomorrow.

As she entered her room, she had fallen herself into bed and released a heavy sigh.

 "Sino ba siya sa buhay ko? Kilala ba niya talaga 'ko?

*Flashback

"E-excuse me... okay ka lang?" Mika approached him and patted his shoulder.

"A-are you f-for real?!" Jeron asked in disbelief.

"Of course, I'm real. Do I look like a ghost?" She lightly laughed as she said that pero nagulat siya nang bigla siya nitong niyakap ng mahigpit.

"Ye, I can't believe it!" Sabi ni Jeron habang nakayakap pa rin sa kanya.

"Teka lang! Bitawan mo 'ko! Ano ba?!" Biglang pumiglas si Mika sa pagkakayap nito. All eyes are now on them. Sa sobrang gulat at hiya ni Mika, napatakbo na lang siya palabas na agad namang sinundan ni Jeron.

"Buds!" He grabbed her arm as he reached her.

"Let go of me!" Mika swinged her arm then faced him.

"Buds, bakit? Di ko maintindihan! Akala ko-" Jeron can't find the right words because of frustration. "Why are you doing this to me?" Jeron.

Nakatingin lang si Mika sa kanya na para bang iiyak na dahil di malaman kung anong gagawin at dahil wala siyang maalala.

"Aaaaagh" Napasigaw si Mika dahil biglang sumakit ang ulo niya. Nagulat si Jeron kaya akmang lalapitan na sana nito.

"Buds? Anong na-"

"Wag kang lumapit sa 'kin! Aaaagh!" Napasigaw ulit siya, nakahawak pa rin sa kanyang ulo.

"Buds... Ye." Nagpatuloy pa rin siya. Makikita mo talaga ang pag-aalala niya.

"Sabi ko, wag kang lumapit! And don't call me those names!" Napahinto lang si Jeron. "I don't know who you are!"

"Ye... Ano bang pinagsasabi mo? It's me, J-"

"I'm not joking, I really don't know you!" Mika added which made him puzzled and remained where he is standing. That's her cue to run in her car and drove off.

*End of flashback

Jeron knocks on his brother's door after the meeting incident with Mika. He has no one to talk to right now except his brother, Jeric.

"O Je." It's already midnight that's why he's surprised to see him outside his door and he's a little bit worried too. Di naman kasi pumupunta si Jeron sa kanya ng ganyang oras kung walang problema.
