"Y-ye?" He felt a mixture of happiness and a little bit of nervousness. "I'm sorry... Mika pala." Jeron immediately taken it aback as he realized she can't remember and might be feeling awkward hearing that name.
"Tita Ye, is he your surprise to me? I told you kanina na I want to see tito Jeron. You called him, didn't you?" Enzo asked innocently. Pareho naman silang natameme sa sinasabi ng bata.
"U-uhm Enzo, nagkataon lang na nandito ang tito Je mo. Let's go na sa park?" She held his hand for them to go out and to avoid that awkward moment.
"Ay ganun? Can you come with us tito?" Baling niya kay Jeron. He really wants to, but he's thinking what Mika might feel. He looked at her first then Enzo.
"Uhm. It's up to your tita." Jeron said nicely.
"Tita, it's okay right? He can come with us, right?" She felt hesitant about that but she doesn't want to disappoint this little kid.
'Please Lord, let her say yes. Say Yes ,please!'. Jeron keeps on praying.
"Fine." Mika.
"Yeyy!" Enzo.
"Yes!" He mumbled. Mika heard it though and looked at him.
"I-I mean... I'm just excited to be with Enzo." He defended himself and go out with Enzo first. Naiwan naman si Mika na nagtataka at napangiti na lang huli.
They ride on their own cars going to the park. Mika and Enzo arrived there first.
"Wow, tita! Ang daming fish!" Enzo said excitedly while running towards the pond.
"Enzo, dahan dahan lang." Mika warned him.
"Sa'n na po ba si tito?"
Mika looked around, pero di niya makita. They've been there for five minutes already.
"I don't know baby, baka may emergency siya or something." She explained.
"Hi! Sorry kung natagalan ako." Biglang sabi ni Jeron. She looked at him. "Dumaan lang ako sa store and bought some food." Jeron, may daladalang basket at kumot.
"Wow! Para tayong magpipicnic." Enzo.
"Ilalatag ko muna ito doon" Sabay turo sa bandang ilalim ng isang puno.
"I'll help you." Mika volunteered.
"S-sure." Abot tenga ang ngiti ni Jeron habang naglalakad pero di ito nakikita ni Mika dahil medyo nauna siya.
After arranging all the foods and stuffs on the blanket. They started to eat.
"Iced-gem biscuits! My favorite." Enzo blurted out.
"Binili ko talaga yan for you." Jeron.
"Thank you, tito." Enzo hugged him while Mika is just looking at them.
Ilang sandali pa'y bumalik na Enzo sa may pond at naiwan naman ang dalawa. It's so silent, tila ba nagkakapaan kung sino ang mauuna.
"Alam mo talaga ang mga gusto ni Enzo noh?" Mika spoked first.
"Hmm. Sobrang malapit kasi yan sa'kin." Matipid niyang sagot.
"Ang cute ng shirt niya, Little archer. Gift mo daw? Why little archer?" Mika asked in curiosity.
"When I was in college, I joined the basketball team DLSU Green Archers and they used to call me, King Archer. But I quit when you- I mean I just played the first two years then quit. Enzo was always present in our games ‘Lagi mo siyang dinadala’ kaya ayun binansagan siyang Little Archer.
