Right now,I'm sitting in the train station, waiting to leave and start heading home. I've been anxious all morning because the train is super late and I might not catch my connecting train back to 🅱ennsylvania which is making me super paranoid but whatever. (Update on that: I ended up having to stay a night at Chicago and catching the train the next day, which I'm on now. I'll be home within like 10 hours, so I'm more at ease than I was when I was writing this.)
I'm really sad, too. Saying goodbye like that was one of the hardest things I had to do. But I don't want to focus on the sad part of it,but rather look back on all the memories we made. I'll just start from the beginning because I'm sappy like that.So when I was finally getting into the city Kali lives in/near, we both just kinda started to freak out. We were messaging each other so it just consisted of a bunch of keyboard mashing. When I got there at the station,it was seriously the most unreal thing I have felt in my life. I was so fucking nervous when I was walking down the platform and into the station itself, and it only got worse as got closer and closer to the actual lobby part of the station. Okay I have to explain this as I saw it or it won't seem like it meant as much as I say it did. It's just like "I've been traveling for so long, putting so much stress on myself, doing something I've never even imagined doing. And I was finally THERE." I remember going down an escalator and walking up a slight ramp, and seeing a long line of people to the right of me. And the vibe was already weird, since it was almost dark outside. And I just remember rounding a corner, and then I saw Kali standing there with her mom. It was the weirdest, dreamiest, most pure feelings I've ever felt in my entire existence. I just remember running up to get (and fucking tripping us both lmao) and laughing, and when I stood up it was the most AWKWARD BUT PURE THING EVER OMFG. It felt like two worlds colliding, as if this sort of thing shouldn't happen. But it did.
We went swimming a couple times, first time being on my first full day there because it was HOT AS HELL. Jesus.
We made tons of new inside jokes and memes, and we even did an art collab for a roleplay we're doing. We played Sims 4 for a little bit, we watched Giga Gamby like 500 times, and we watched lists of creepy stories and stuff on Youtube. BUT EVENTUALLY WE CAME ACROSS THIS ONE CLIP OF SOMETHING THEY FOUND CREEPY,BUT WE FOUND IT THE FUNNIEST SHIT EVER. There's these videos under a named called I-Be Area, and there's these characters doing a bunch of different things. They make no fucking sense but that's the thing that makes it so damn funny ofmg.
We made a bunch of slime together, as well as taking a bunch of blurry pictures and funny videos.
We even went mini golfing at one point, and we were mostly just playing to meme, not even to keep score. There was this family in front us and a family behind us that were pretty funny. There was a guy in the family in front of us that kept 'screaming' about either missing the hole or getting the golf ball in the hole and it was some funny shit. And then the family behind us was making a much of funny comments and we literally couldn't keep ourselves from laughing. After that we went to Denny's to have dinner (or at least I had dinner, Kali and her mom had breakfast. Don't blame them tho, that shit's good).
This trip was honestly the best thing in my life,I swear. It was so much fun and it was so cool to spend over a week with my favorite person in the world.
I didn't take many pics of us together ugh. But seriously, I had the time of my life. I love you so much Kali,I really hope I'm able to visit again sooner.
