OK, so I said on my last chapter that I'm stopping the y/n thing and giving her an actual name. Her name is now........... HANNA! I hope there's no confusion!

**Hanna's POV**

As I run towards my dorm, I think about how lucky I am.  I'm at the college of my dreams with the man of my dreams.  It feels like it was set up or something.  I reach my dorm and see Lexi walking out.

"Where were you last night? I was freaking out!" Oh my gosh, I haven't told Lexi anything!

"Oh, um, I stayed over in another dorm last night..." I start. "Do you by any chance know who Matthew Espinosa is?"

"Well duh, of course I do. Why?" she asks.

"Well, he goes to school here, and a teacher introduced us; we've been hanging out ever since." How is she going to react?

"WHAT?!"

Not well.

"So you're telling me that Matt goes to our school, you two have been hitting it off, and I haven't heard about it until now? When were you planning in telling me?" She asks calmly, but I can tell she's upset.

"I was going to tell you, I swear, you and I just haven't gotten to know each other yet.  I was gonna wait until I knew you better." I hope that was the right thing to say.

"Um, OK. I guess that makes sense," she says. Looks like I'm off the hook for now.

"Oh, and Carter is his roommate." Her eyes go big. " Before you freak out again, don't worry, you can come hang out with us today. I'll introduce you guys, and we can become the 4 musketeers or something. Go get yourself ready," I tell her.

"OK," she says as we both walk into the dorm.

I walk into the bathroom as she walks to her dresser. "And dress nice!" I say with a wink before shutting the bathroom door.

**Matt's POV**

I sit down on a bench and Carter comes to sit next to me.

"Man, why can't I ever be the lucky one?" he asks. I can't tell if he's serious or not. I look over at him smiling and give him a pat on the back.

"Hey man. It'll be your turn soon enough," I say, still smiling.

"No, that's not what I mean.  We start our first day of college, and you already found someone that's all over you. It's always you dude. Always." It almost looks like he's about to start crying.

"Dude, you're Carter Reynolds. The Carter Reynolds. You could pick up a girl in an instant." I try to comfort him, but I'm not really sure it's working.

"Sure, I can go find a random girl off of the street, tell her I have tons of followers, and boom, instant girlfriend. But that's not what I want. I want something like what you and Hanna have.  You guys both are in love with each other, and everyone can tell just by looking at you. I want that, someone who doesn't wanna go out with me just because I'm vine famous."  Wow, I've never seen Carter like this. He's normally a happy-go-lucky kind of guy. I did'nt know he could get this emotional.

I look up at him, and I'm about to speak when Hanna comes walking up to us with another girl by her side.

"Hey guys. This is my roommate, Lexi. Lexi, meet Matt and Carter." I smile as I stand up and shake her hand.

"Nice to meet you, Lexi," I say. I can tell she's a fan. It's not hard to see that she's holding back a huge smile. It's really sweet of Hanna to introduce her to us. Carter stands up next and shakes her hand as well. He still looks upset.  Hanna looks at me and mouths Is he OK?, and I nod, but I can tell that she knows he's not. She looks worried, but I go over and hug her, whispering in her ear that I'll tell her later.

"Ok, so I told Lexi that she could hang out with us today, is that cool?" Carter and I both nod, but they're different types of nods. I'm nodding and smiling while Carter is nodding and looking at the ground, depressed looking.

Lexi is looking at Carter worriedly, almost as if she thinks it's her fault that Carter looks so upset. Hanna nudges her and mouths He's fine, and Lexi looks at me for reassurance, so I nod.  I don't want either of them to think it's their fault.

"So, you guys wanna go down to the beach to chill? You know, not go into the water but just hang out on the sand?" I try to break the silence. Everyone looks at each other and nods, signaling that that's what we're doing. We start heading towards the beach.

**Carter's POV**

I know that I seem depressed, but that's because I am. But I know I need to perk up because it looks like Lexi is beginning to think it's her fault, and it's not. Lexi seems really nice, and she's gorgeous too.  I'm glad Hanna brought Lexi to hang out with us.  Matt's suggestion of the beach was actually a really good idea. It's a good place for us to all just hang out.  It should be a pretty good day if I can forget about my longing for someone who loves me for me.

"So Lexi, you have a vine?" Matt asks, breaking the silence. Lexi blushes.

"Was it that obvious?" Lexi asks, causing us all to laugh. "Man, I screwed up already," she adds after we finish laughing.

Matt pats her on the back and smiles. "Hey, it's ok. I know we're irresistible. Right, Hanna?" For that, Matt earns himself a punch in the shoulder from Hanna, and Lexi and I laugh as Matt rubs his shoulder.

"Ok, ok. So Lexi, tell us about yourself," I say, this being the first time I've spoken so far.

"Well, I'm from Oklahoma, and-" Lexi starts, but is then cut off by Hanna.

"VOLLEYBALL!" Hanna says as she points at the volleyball net.

"Oh, you're on. Me and Lexi against you and Matt," I say as we all run towards the net.

Hanna grabs a ball and serves right at me.  Man, that girl can serve. It hits me right in the stomach. Hanna smirks as I roll the ball back to her side for her to serve again. She serves, and this time I'm ready, and I bump it right back over. I feel satisfied, until Hanna digs up the ball, sending it to Matt. Matt then sets it back to Hanna, and Hanna spikes it down on our side. Lexi then digs it up, and I try to be cool and spike it, but it goes into the net.

"Give up, Reynolds?" Matt says. I just give a smirk and roll the ball back to them. We play for around half an hour until Lexi says she's bored, and we all agree.  We all sit down on the sand and look out at the ocean. Hanna rests her head on Matt's shoulder, and Matt lays his head on top of hers. He then looks over at me and quickly lifts his head up, but I nod and smile, so he puts it back down. Lexi and I are sitting close together, and I lay my hand on top of hers. We all sit there like that for what seems like forever.

Yay, a longer chapter!(: Give me feedback and suggestions if you wanna. Another update soon!
