"I hate to say this, since my father will most definitely question it, but I think it would be best for you to come back to our home and explain all you know. Of course I can't force you to, but please consider it."
After a hesitant pause, the girl began to laugh rather vivaciously, the bright grin on her face clear. Of course the action froze Leo due to his shock, but she didn't falter when shifting her chortles into an answer.
"Apologies! It's funny because, with your size and skill, you could most certainly force me! You're just too kind to do so without a valid reason. I mean- come on! Your range of motion is quite extensive, and you have impressive speed and strength to match. I mean holy guacamole, whenever you fight, you show as much skill as someone with much more age and practice! Not to insult you, but you're acting extremely soft for someone who's supposed to fade away from anyone necessary."
The girl flashed him yet another debonair smile, though the male seemed thrown off by the response. Soft? How dare she- he wasn't soft, just... Polite. Great, now he was highly flustered and out of sorts. She caught on relatively quick, realizing how insulting that may be to someone in his position. She softly sauntered forward, placing a hand on his shoulder with intentions to comfort him.
"Relax. I'm just messing with you, it's flattering that you'd be so polite to a stranger. I know it's odd to have someone know so much about you, but sadly, that's the only way for me to trust someone, even if I don't know them personally. Information is power, and because of that, I trust you. You're a good person, I know that first hand."
Leonardo felt mildly flattered from her words, but as he went to respond, a loud noise jostled them both. The familiar sound of kraang weaponry echoed through the air from a nearby warehouse, forcing Leonardo to react quickly despite the circumstances, his posture raising to his full height. Without speaking, the terrapin grabbed her hand, pulling the girl towards the edge of the building. The female didn't hesitate to follow, jumping from the side of the building when the male did, not scared with him watching over her. Sure enough, he caught her as he landed gracefully in the road, placing her down as he beckoned for her to follow. She did so obediently, noting the appearance of his brothers in the alley closest.
"Stay here miss, we need to handle the situation so it doesn't escalate. Me and my brothers are-"
"Perfectly capable, I know. Just be careful. You're not invincible, even with how tough you are."
Harper flashed him a grin, which did bring some amusement to the blue clad turtle. Raphael, his name was easily discovered through their normal roof top discussions, seemed annoyed from the disturbance in the city. She expected nothing less. Knowing it was the best decision, the female moved to the alley, kicking her foot up against the wall to wait. She didn't want to get in the way or distract them by risking herself, then she'd have to be saved, that would be annoying.
Raphael was the first to rush in, moving like a fiery blur through the multiple kraang bots standing there, cutting free the caramel skinned girl who had been the victim in all of this. She attempted to run, since the angriest brother instructed her to do so, but she was quickly grabbed by her hair forcing a pained noise from her throat. April, who had come with the turtles, threw her tessen, slicing off a bit of hair that had been grabbed by a robot. The girl didn't waste time taking off again, running out and into the alley to regain herself as the turtles finished the fight.
"Hey! You alright?"
The brunette glanced up in shock, having not realized that someone was already in the dark alley, standing nonchalantly in the shadows.
"I suppose I'm fine... Who are you?"
"Name's Harper, you can call me Harpy. You?"
"Hmm. My name is Lilith."
"Ohhh yeah, Mikey's gonna wanna call you Lily."
"Who?"
"Orange mask, giant turtle, blue eyes, big grin?"
"Oh, I see. It's fine I suppose."
Both girls glanced over when the group of ninjas returned, seemingly collected despite the previous fight. All except for Raph of course, who had his arms crossed as he huffily approached the female he saved. His posture changed quite a bit as he grabbed her wrist, teeth clenched tightly together.
"Alright girly. You better tell us what was going on in there, and you better not lie."
He didn't even notice how tightly he was clutching her wrist, which was odd considering how it began to change color. April seemed highly shocked by his actions, quickly yanking his arm away from the girl, a frown on her face.
"Raphael! Give her a break, she was just captive by the kraang and now your taking her captive?"
Great, this was starting off phenomenally. Harper was positive that this was going to end up horribly, unless someone talked some sense into the temperamental turtle. Lilith glanced back as Mikey softly touched her freshly cut strands of hair, stars practically forming in his eyes from how soft it was. The girl didn't seem offended, but rather amused that he was enjoying himself.
"You're so pretty!"
He gasped softly, forcing an annoyed sigh from his brother. No one would really disagree with him, but they tried not to awkwardly voice their opinions like the youngest among them. She informed them all of her name once more, and as expected, Mikey chose to call her Lily after receiving permission. April simply apologized profusely for cutting her hair, though Lilith brushed it off, claiming that the clean cut was still cute. Though Lilith, April, Mikey, and Harper, were the only ones talking as they entered the sewer and returned to the lair as Leo instructed. Raphael quietly listening, somewhat annoyed for a reason they all had yet to discover.
At least they succeeded, in saving Lilith, and retrieving Harper.
(Hey guys! This chapter is an introduction to Lilith, @AmaranthineKalon 's oc please check her out, she's amazing!)
