Going Back: Testing Time

Chapter 1 - Wait, Where Am I?

Luke sat down, thinking about what just happened. He just finished watching the ceremony of his father's cremation.

Why couldn't I save him? Luke thought.

I should've been able to!

Luke sighed. "I should have been able to save him," Luke said to himself. As soon as Luke said that a flash of light shown. The light flew torwards Luke.

THUD

Luke hit the floor. It didn't feel like the wood holding up the Ewok huts. It felt like... Metal? Luke thought.

"Who's he," a voice said. "I don't know," another one said. Luke thought it would be about time Luke opened his eyes.

There were four males. One was tall with brown hair another had short ginger hair. "Who do you think he is, Anakin?" the ginger haired one said. "Dunno," the other one said. Luke looked around.

His eyes widen when he sees the ginger haired one. "Ben?" Luke says. All four men look at him weird. "Um... you must have hit your head. My name's Obi-Wan. And this is Anakin," Obi-Wan said pointing to the brown haired one. "Sorry. You look like someone I know. I'm Luke," Luke said. "We were in a battle," a white haired, bearded man said. "Right," Anakin said. Anakin and Obi-Wan dropped their robes on the ground next to Luke and Palpatine.

"Luke stay beside Palpatine," Anakin said. Luke, who was on the left of Palpatine, looked at him. Luke soon realized who Palpatine really was, the man who had eletricuted him on the Death Star. Luke stared at Palpatine in pain but also in anger. Anakin seemed to have noticed this.

"You won't get away this time Dooku," Obi-Wan said, snapping Anakin back to the battle about to commence. Obi-Wan ignited his lightsaber, Anakin following suit. "I've been looking forward to this," Dooku said. Luke could tell there had been a fierce battle between the two Jedi and Sith. "My powers have doubled since the last time we met, Count," Anakin said. Luke looked back at the Chancellor, who had a devilish smile on his face. He looked to Luke.

I'm going to figure out who you are little boy, Palpatine thought.

Luke looked at him in fear. "Good. Twice the pride, double the fall," Dooku said, making Luke look at the battle in front of him. Luke watched with the fear still in his eyes. Anakin looked to Luke, seeing the fear in them. Anakin raised an eyebrow in question.

Luke raised his hand and cut it across his neck, as if to say not now.

Maybe if I knew you better, Luke thought. Hey, wait Anakin was my father's name. Have I went back in time?, Luke thought.

The noise of lightsabers hitting each other knocked Luke out of his thoughts. The Chancellor watched the battle very closely, Luke observed.

As if he's waiting for something to happen, Luke thought.

Luke watched in worry as Obi-Wan was slung to the ground by Count Dooku, but soon recovered. "Get--," Palpatine said, which made Luke look at him in confusion. Luke wad snapped back into the battle as Obi-Wan was Force-pushed into a railing knocking him unconscious. The Count then used the force to push the railing onto Obi-Wan.

Luke ran over to him. Luke took a breath of relief, "Phew he's just unconscious," he said. After making sure Obi-Wan was okay, he turn his attention by to his father and Count Dooku.

"I sense great fear in you, Skywalker," Dooku said, making Luke worry. "You have hate. You have anger. But you dont use them," Dooku said. Luke watched the battle closely. To Luke's surprise, Anakin cut Dooku's hands off, leaving him only his wrists. Anakin then caught Dooku's lightsaber, using his and Dooku's to make an X around Dooku's neck.
