Chapter 8 - Luke, Please Come Home

A/N - This chapter takes place in Luke's time zone. I wanna give you an idea about what's going on with Elizabeth Knightstarr, how she feels about Luke disapearing and how she's dealing with it. This chapter will be short. 150 or 200 words. Maybe more. The picture at the top is of Elizabeth Knightstarr. I hope you enjoy!

Elizabeth Knightstarr had been pacing for two hours. She hadn't slept well. She had barely been eating, too. All because the man she loved and cared for dearly: Luke Skywalker. She had never told him she had loved him since the day they met. And now had no clue where he was at. All she saw before he disappeared was a flash of light from an Ewok hut.

"Stop worrying, E.K," Sara-Rose, a friend Elizabeth had known back on Tatooine, said. "He's perfectly fine and you know it." E.K was the nickname that Sara-Rose had given her when they were twelve. Elizabeth stopped pacing. Elizabeth then sighed, "I'm not sure if he is or not."

 Sara-Rose sighed. "Elizabeth." That made her look up. She rarely called her by her real name unless she was mad or, even in the slightest way, concerned. Sara-Rose look at Elizabeth, from head to toe. "Elizabeth, you've lost a lot of weight," she said, clearly concerned about her friend. "I know," was all Elizabeth could get out,"But Rose, he's been gone a week. Even though I'm a Jedi, I can't feel him." 

Elizabeth started to stare off into the distance. She only did that when she was saying, or talking through the Force. After a few minutes, she looked back at Sara-Rose. "That was Luke," she said,"He's alright."

Sara-Rose looked at Elizabeth's gloved hand. "You never told me how you got that," she said pointing at the glove." Elizabeth looked at the gloved hand, smiling as she recalled the memory. "In a fight inside Mos Eisly Cantina. I was a little drunk... Heh. I started to get into a little squabble with Boba Fett. Then it turned into a full on blaster fight. He shot me here," Elizabeth said holding up her gloved hand. "That's also how I know Han. He separated me and Boba before one of us got killed. Although neither of us died, I took a blast that would never heal. Me and him--" She was cut off by Sara-Rose,"That was incorrect grammar." "Rose, I never use correct grammar... And stop telling me when I do!" Elizabeth said.

"Anyway... After that, it's funny actually, we became friends. HAN THROUGH HIM INTO THE SARLACC PIT THAT JABBA USES!!!!!" she said, screaming the last part. "I SAID I WAS SORRY!" Han screamed, who was in a hut close by. Sara-Rose cleared her throat. Turning back to face her Elizabeth said," I actually pulled him out of the Sarlacc pit."

Sara-Rose's purple-pink eyes widened,"Boba Fett. The Boba Fett is alive?!" Elizabeth smiled at her old friend's reaction. "Yeah," Elizabeth said. "I've talked him into thinking of joining the Rebellion. You know... For any other nerf-herders trying to rebuild the empire," she said. Sara-Rose raised an eyebrow in question,"Nerf-herders?" "Hehe... Yeah..." Elizabeth said.

Elizabeth looked at the wooden ground. Sara-Rose saw sadness in her eyes. Elizabeth, who was one to not cry, shed a tear. "Luke, please come home," Elizabeth said.

A/N- Okay this was longer than I thought. There may be more of these, but shorter. The next part of the book will be the color of Sara-Rose's eye color, so you kinda get a picture of the purple-pink I'm talking about.
