Grace arrived at the cemetry her eyes red and puffy, she did not have the strength to stand but she had to come and witness the burial of the most important person in her life.
The mourners were many ,she went and place the flowers in the dead body.she could not believe that the one person who brought happiness in her life is now gone.
If the situation was different she would have laugh because nothing was ever permanent in her life, she regain hope when he met him thinking that life can be different and she can also live a normal life like the others but now she knew it was all an illusion. She believed now that she can never have a normal life and nothing will be the same.
Grace watched as people came to give their final goodbye to him. Somewhere in her heart she did not believe that he was dead. But that was just her stupid heart that led her to this . She watched the family of the bereaved in grief . His cousins were also there .
The ceremony went in a blur as her mind was somewhere else. It started raining and people dispersed. She looked around and noticed everyone was gone and she was the only one remaining .
She went to the grave and knelt down , that is when she breakdown ."why did you live me alone ..why you were the only good thing that kept me living ." She continued crying while hitting the ground . She cried for the loss of the best thing in her life . Life was very cruel he blamed him for showing her what life was and living her alone in this cursed earth.
She continued crying and it also continued raining very hard .there was thunder and just reminded her of him and his fear for thunder. It just showed how bad the day was.
She regretted that she could not tell him they were going to have a baby .he could not see the fruit of their love. She continued crying for a long time cursing for her fate until she felt exhausted.
The rain continued and she could not even notice she was freezing cold. She did not notice the time and soon it was dark . She was awaken by shaking and discovered it was dark .She had fallen asleep , she was awaken by her friend life lizz, She was shivering and she knew she had catch cold. Lizz was very sympathetic of her friend she knew how life was unfair to her . She just help her up and took her to the car and drove.
