The alarm clock rang, the agitating constant sound revolving in my head. Releasing a continuous yawn I yanked the alarm clock plug out of the plug-in and pulled myself out of my bed covers. I walked downstairs to make myself some cereal and get ready for my first day of Juilliard. I needed to wear something simple but cute.

I looked into the mirror and set my hair up in a lace braided bun and curled the loose flies with the curling iron. I leaned over and unplugged the curling iron looked at myself in the mirror and sighed. I brushed my teeth as I hauled my charcoal covered backpack over my shoulders. Making my way to the front door I stopped and stared at the doorknob and hesitated to even touch it. I tightly clasped my fingers around the knob and twisted it, the door slammed right open by the fall wind. Startled. I slipped the keychain on my index finger and locked the front door.

I started the car and turned on the heater waiting for the car to get warm. I pulled of the driveway and pushed down the pedal so the car would accelerate and drove at the same speed with my hands tightly gripped on the steering wheel until I reached the school parking lot. I peeked out the window and let my eyes wander through the glass windows of the school.

I opened the car door and took a few steps out as I lifted my backpack over one of my shoulders and locked the car door behind me. I stepped up onto the sidewalk.

"Hello, you there?" I heard a voice behind me. It sounded joyous and bright, a female voice. I turned around to see who it is. " Hey, have you seen a box of colorful paperclips?" She said. Odd. Just some box of paperclips? She was abundantly short, her eyes big and brown surrounded by long Bambi lashes. Her hair was strait and blonde she carried the cutest small pink purse with a huge bow on it. She wore just the tallest pink heels.

"I'm sorry, no I haven't." I said in a confused tone as I pushed up my glasses.

"Oh, sorry my name is Blair." She said as she stretched her hand out in front of me to shake it while she batted her eyes. She smiled real big and walked in place with her heels tapping the concrete.

"My name is Gabriela, Gaby for short..." I smiled back at her and shook her hand.

"It's my first year at Juilliard and you?" I nodded my head yes to her question. "Uh oh, sorry I forgot my lip gloss in my car. Why don't we meet up during the lunch break later?" She said before a sigh.

"Alrighty see you here then bye Blair." I waved goodbye. She ran off, I could hear her heals clomping. Made a new friend, I guess.

I opened the door of the school and walked up to the front desk to pick up my schedule. The lady asked for my last name then gave me a small paper with my schedule. I was reading the paper scanning every square inch.

I pulled out my notebooks and was too concentrated on the schedule. Suddenly I bumped into someone and my notebooks were scattered all over the ground, papers flew all over the ground.
