This morning I woke up to the sound of my alarm clock and I was sort of excited. I missed it here and all of my friends at gymnastics. I got up and went to the kitchen to get myself some breakfast. I had some cereal and added some blueberries to it because I am kind of obsessed with them. I also had a glass of orange juice to drink.
After I finished my breakfast, I went back upstairs to finish getting ready. I went to my room to put on my leotard that was turquoise and had white and black cheveron on the sleeves. (Author's Note: pic below) I also grabbed a pair of black shorts to go over it.

I then went to my bathroom and put my hair into a high ponytail and brushed my teeth. I am not going to wear any makeup today because I will just be getting all hot and sweaty at practice anyway.
As I walked in to my gym, I was greeted by my coach and all of my friends. "I missed you guys." I said with a huge smile. "We missed you too. " Everyone said at the same time.
We went into the gym and I was on the beam for the first time in what felt like forever. However, to my surprise it was just like I had never left. I was a natural. I guess it's kind of like getting back on a bike after you haven't rode it in a while. (A/N: Fun fact- I actually was never taught how to ride a bike, so I don't know how. I am 15 years old don't know how to ride a bike, sad I know. I will know how to drive before I ever knew how to ride a bike. Honestly, I don't even really care to learn how to ride a bike though! Lol! 😂 Okay back to the story 😂)
After a few more hours of gym had passed, we had our lunch break. As soon as I had sat down with my friends, I was bombarded with questions. "Okay, okay, one at a time." I laughed. "Actually, how about I just tell you guys about my trip?" Everyone nodded.
"Okay, so as you all may know, I went to surprise Cameron for our birthday. He was having a meet and greet and his friend Nash knew a makeup artist named Erin who helped disguise me as a fan. When it was my turn to meet him, he had no idea it was me until I took my disguise off! After that we hung out for a while and soon after Nash and I started dating. We went on a few dates after that and I soon realized that he might be the one. Just when I thought that everything was going great, I got a message for coach saying that I had to come back as soon as possible to continue my training. I was really excited To come back and see you all. However, I was really sad to have to leave Nash. I decided that it would be best to take a break from our relationship because I wanted all of my focus to be on gymnastics and I am not the biggest fan f long distance relationships anyway. I also told him that it was the best relationship that I have ever been in and if we were really meant to be, it would all work itself out and we would be together again someday. Of course I miss Nash like crazy, but I know that if I want to be in the Olympics one day, I have to forget about him and move on."
"That was so beautiful, Al!" One of my friends, Elena, said. I just smiled, "Thanks guys! Now let's get back to practice!" I said and everyone agreed. Boy did I miss these guys. I am sure glad to be back.
**Back At Home**
When I got home, I had decided to eat dinner and get to bed after a very long, hard, and somewhat stressful day. I am really glad that I got to do what I love and see all of my friends again after such a long time.
For dinner, I made myself a grilled cheese sandwich with tomato soup. Then, I went upstairs to change into my pajamas and brush my teeth. Then, I laied on my bed and checked my social media before heading to bed. Boy, I am sure glad to be back.
