Life is like a mirror, everything you give, comes back to you. Forgive and forget go along with each other. How can we forgive, if we're not able to forget? It doesn't matter how much time we give it, we still never forget; it's always gonna be with us, and in a way, when we look back it, we'll still resent it, so we will never be truly able to forgive.

The little kid started laughing and ran off the hallway. I ran out of the room quickly to see where he was going. He stood at the edge of the stairs. When he saw me, he ran downstairs, still laughing. His kiddy laugh could be heard all around the house. I tried following him, but I lost him; I could only hear him giggling. I was trying to follow his laugh, not really paying attention when I bumped against Nick's back. "What are you doing?"-He asked.

I was disoriented and it took me a while before I could answer. "Uhhh.... I...I... D-did you see a little kid running around?"-I asked stutteringly.

Nick looked at me confused. "Uh, no. The kids are asleep upstairs."-He answered.

"Forget it. I think I was sleepwalking."-I said. I really didn't know what was happening to me then. I even asked myself if it was possible to remember very clearly everything we see, hear, and do while sleepwalking. Right then, I really thought I sleepwalked and dreamt everything. "I'm going back to sleep. Good night"-I added quickly standing on my tiptoes and kissing Nick on the cheek. Before he could say anything back, I started walking up the stairs.

------------------------------------------------

"Hey. How was work?"-Nick asked me when I got home Friday night.

"It was fine, like always."-I answered simply. He was sitting on the couch playing cards with Ian, so I walked up to them. Messing Ian's ginger hair, I greeted him sweetly, "Hey!".

"What's up?"-He answered without looking at me; keeping focused on the game.

I sat down beside him, looked at his cards, and said jokingly, "You're losing".

He turned his head to face me and really serious said, "Thank you for the observation". He was taking the game way too seriously.

"So... Ian, do you have any plans tonight?"-I asked him casually.

"You're looking at it."- He replied. Nick and I laughed at him.

"Great, so you're in charge of the kids."-I said and stood up from the couch. I faced Nick with a mischievous smile and asked, "Do you want to go to a party?"

Ian jumped from the couch ranting angrily, but I just ignored him. Nick's mouth curved into a smile; he said excitedly, "Let's go!" We both ran upstairs to our rooms to change. Ian followed us still ranting furiously. "It's not fair!!! I'm not watching the kids while you guys go to a party!! I want to go to the party too!! Are you guys listening to me? Don't ignore me!!! Hello??!!" He kept ranting and banging on my door. I was laughing so hard, my stomach hurt. I needed to bathe, so I opened the door and fast walked to the bathroom. Ian was behind me still ranting. I shut the bathroom's door in his face. He yelled one last time, "I'm not doing it," and walked away. I turned on the water and stepped into the shower. I let the freezing water fall down on me while I closed my eyes.

After I finished getting ready, I walked up to Scott's room and knocked on the door. He had arrived from work. I opened the door and from under the door frame greeted him with a sweet smile, "Hi".

He was lying on the bed with his earphones on. He sat down, took one earphone off, and with a smile greeted me back, "Hey!! You look nice. Where are you going?"
