I woke up to Azure setting out my clothes.

"You didn't have to do that," I said as I rubbed my eyes.

"Tired?" Azure began reaplying burn cream to my back, "Why don't you go back to sleep?"

"I'll be fully awake..." I yawned, "in a bit."

Azure handed me my clothes. Once I was dressed I grabbed my boots. I tied the extra belt around my left thigh. The extra length hung down towards my knee. I covered the left boot with my pant leg which got a bit wider towards the bottom. The right leg was held in by the bandages I use for style. It was sort of my version of Azure's mitch match stockings. She kissed my cheek scar and grabbed the shirt which was right behind me. It was a thin white, noodle strap, tank top. It also revealed her stomach, as well as a bit of herself in some occasions. She had on a pair of white short-shorts, There was about an inch and a half of her skin between her stockings and the bottom of the shorts. The shorts themselves where about two inches long. She brushed her hair which was as long as ever. It still reached her ankles, maybe even a little farther now. She grabbed the bobby pin she made me. It had a large pink flower with five petals. It had a small touch of purple towards the edges of the petals. She pinned it so it would hold up the bangs in my eyes. I wore that pin everyday now. Mostly in case someone tried to lock us up again.

We walked down to the living room and Sasha was making something in a pan. Azure sat with me on the couch. Sasha served us two eggs. She reminded me of an owl with her wide blue eyes and dark brown hair. She even had feathered earrings to match her fur lined, silk robe. Arin came in with his new deck of cards.

"I say, we have some fun today," Arin said as he shuffled his cards, "It's been a while. How many guessers do you think I can make disappear?"

"I'd say at least ten," Caroline said as she walked in and sat on the table.

I inched away just incase she pulled another trick.

"What's wrong Noah," Caroline said in sly voice, "Sscared?"

"Get any closer and you know what will happen," Azure pulled me down towards her.

She practically had me in a headlock.

"You're in a mood," Caroline said sarcastically as she gradded a plate, "Something wrong?"

"You know what's wrong," Azure had me lay on my stomach with my head on her lap.

"You've never been gentle with anyone. Why's he any different?" Caroline was spinning a web trap for herself, "He's smaller, weaker, shyer, than any other guy based on what I've been able to see. I bet it was that stupid academy."

Caroline continued to question Azure but she ignored her. I felt a little pathetic from Caroline's description of me. It wasn't like I could change my body or personality.

"So where do we strike tonight?" Arin asked.

"I saw a small city near the beach. About a five hour run. Two if we hitch hike,"Caroline replied, "It's full of people to rate. We can use Noah as bait for large vans to hitchhike in."

"Why is it always me?" I asked.

"For one your injure, which causes guilt in sensitive drivers," Caroline mentioned, "Two, you can pull off the look of a younger girl. And three, you cry easily."

"Fine," I responded.

"Go pack everyone," Azure commanded.

We finished eating and went over to the storage areas. Azure grabbed a larger backpack for the two of us since I had burns on my back still. She had her main weapon in a easy to reach pocket. She packed the retractable shield Sasha made me along with a needle and thread. Once we had all gotten ready we went out. We had an hour walk to get out of the forest. We climbed down the cliff the forest was on and walked out to the road. Sasha removed her robe to reveal the tight black dress she had on with her black heels. The others hid in rocks nearby. We waited until a large van or truck drove by. Sasha pretended to be my mother and I cried with the robe around me to trick the passengers and driver. Two truckers with an open back stopped for us after we waited for a few hours.

"Poor girl," The driver said, "Where ya heading?"

"We heard about a hospital in a small city near the beach which is excellent with burns," Sasha lied, "Could you please help us get there?"

"Sure thing," The driver said.

"I'll open the back," Said the passenger, "It's got a blanket if you need it."

"Thank you so much," Sasha seem extremely good at lying, "I promise we won't cause you any trouble."

They opened the back for us and we got in. Once they started the engine again Azure and the others got in as well. It was a two hour drive to get there Azure waited until the truck started to stop and signaled the others to get off. The driver helped us out of the back and left. We were in front of a hospital. We waited until the truck was completely out of site before we made our next move.
