Rath dal'Sheelal is the elder brother to Queilan ha'Sheelal, better known as General Grievous. A strong and honorable warrior with a practiced hand in Jarr'kai. a long lost Jedi battle style. Because of this, he became known as one of the most skilled swordsmen Kalee had ever known. He is also an expert marksman lethal at mid to long range. like his brother Grievous, Rath was considered by most kaleesh as a demigod. However he had a more reserved and disciplined attitude and was more open minded then Grievous was, which often led to disagreements between the two. A few years after the 'death' of Grievous Rath dedicated his life to freeing his people from the huk, a vow that almost killed him. Much like Grievous, most of Rath's body is cybernetic, with notable differences. for one Rath's new body is actually biomechanical, he did not have his mind tampered with, he can jump high enough to reach high areas, and is fast and smart enough to anticipate where an opponent will strike, and he built his own lightsabers by hand. No small feat, his appearance as a cyborg looks like Episode 3 Grievous, however he possesses the skill and mindset of legends Grievous, minus the hate of Jedi. Jedi master Shaak ti was the one who saved Rath. because of this, Rath feels like he owes her his life...a debt he can never repay. with transfusions of Shaak ti's blood as well as sheer willpower, Rath survived his injuries as well as the painful process of being put into a new body biomechanical or not. Rath will clash with Grievous many times during the story, both broken shadows of their former selves, Rath has sworn himself to the Republic's service, but will later grow distrustful and suspicious of Chancellor Palpatine, as with most markmen, his eyes and ears are more acute then most. Like Grievous his arms can split, allowing him to wield four lightsabers at once, however he doesn't collect the lightsabers from his fallen foes, as he sees no appeal-or honor-in looting the dead.
