Chapter eight Grievous vs Rath:round 1

Rath was feeling many emotions right now. Joy, disappointment, anger...and betrayal, how could his brother be so blind to the obvious truth that stood behind him? Grievous answered his older brother's question <Yes Rath I'm alive, the Separatists rebuilt me.> he said, Rath however was seriously injured by the C.I.S. so he wasn't too happy to see his brother in their ranks, "You pledge your loyalty, your life...your blade, to the Sith!? I expected better from you Queilan, especially from you, how would Vaira react if she saw you aiding those who would enslave our people for eternity!?" Rath practically shouted, Obi-Wan was confused, but he'd ask Rath how he knew Grievous so well, <YOUR people Rath, their not my people anymore, I am so much more then I once was, you however are the lesser of us two now...> Grievous rebuked coldy, Rath was stunned by Grievous's response and it was angering him, "How could you say that, especially to your own broth-" Rath began, but Grievous cut him off, <Queilan ha'Sheelal is long dead, now there is only Grievous!> Grievous shouted before laughing maniacally, then had a coughing fit, that was the last straw for Rath, his gaze hardening and his lightsabers reignited, he swung at Grievous who barely got a saber up in time to block it, "Then that gives me no reason not to DESTROY you!" Rath said darkly, both cyborgs charged each other swinging and clashing lightsabers, red blue and green clashed in a lightshow of sparks, but Grievous to his surprise was losing ground to his brother, growling in rage, Grievous split his arms and grabbed two more lightsabers, "FOUR LIGHTSABERS!?" Rath shouted, "You'll need them Grievous!" After that was said Rath charged combining Jarr'kai and Vapaad, in an aggressive flurry of blows, cutting off one of Grievous's hand in the process, the droid General roared in angered and got reckless and aggressive, but also predictable, as Rath blocked, countered and parried all of them "There was one lesson you never learned!" Rath shouted, "Never just use standard attacks," he then got behind Grievous and kicked him in the back, "Use the unorthodox as well!" he finished, then Rath threw his right lightsaber into the air before grabbing it with his left foot, taking off a second hand from Grievous then went for a low sweep, but this time Grievous jumped, but was sent back after blocking a spinning attack from Rath, the older cyborg then grabbed his lightsaber with his hand and went on offense again, having enough Grievous pounced Rath, then bolted past Kenobi who had been watching, impressed by Rath's fighting style, before trying to stop Grievous from escaping by using the Force on a dead Magnaguard, it was thrown at Grievous and hit him hard enough to knock him back, "Now General, surrender." Kenobi demanded <NEVER!!!!> Grievous shouted, pouncing Obi-Wan and running past Rath, who sent out a ship wide alert, "This is General Rath!" he shouted, [Grievous is heading for the docking tube! Do NOT let him escape!] The Clones then got ready to act, when they saw Grievous they opened fire, the cyborg using the hands he had left to block the bolts, as he blew past the first squad of Clones he activated his own com, <Open fire on the Republic ship! Target their engines!> he ordered, the droid on the other line replied by questioning the order, [But sir, the ship still docked to ours!] it said, but Grievous didn't care, he wanted Kenobi and Rath dead, <It doesn't matter, report to your stations and prepare to land on Salucami!> Grievous replied, Rath however was right behind Grievous, intent on making sure he didn't escape, (I hope Skywalker's having an easier time than we are...) he thought, he then felt the ship shake, the droids were firing at the frigate's engines, "Kenobi, gather the men, and prepare to jump ship! Grievous has targeted the engines of this frigate!" Rath reported through wrist comm, [Alright I'll meet you there!] Obi-Wan replied, Rath kept following Grievous, capturing him was looking like an impossibility every second now,

-Eradicater bridge-

Anakin and Gallia had killed off a few commando droids, and freed master Koth, as they supported the Councilor, they heard the sound of metal being ripped apart, they turned and saw K-2SO standing in front of them with a tactical droid's head in his hand, [You missed one.] K said simply, "I thought I told you to stay with the ship!" Anakin hissed, K-2 just shrugged, [You did...but I thought it boring,] he said, [And you were in trouble.] As he finished, he caught a thermal detonator that a commando droid threw before shutting down, [There were a lot of explosions for two Jedi 'being stealthy'...] K said, before chucking the active detonator over his shoulder, [Stop right ther-] was all a super battle droid managed to say before it, and the battle droids with it were blown up, all three Jedi were shocked to say the least, the droid in front of them wasn't messing around when he said, he was a battle droid, [You're right, perhaps I should stay with the ship...] K-2 said nonchalantly, walking past the Jedi who shook off their shock, "Remind me not to piss him off..." Anakin whispered, a few hours later, they had reached the entrance when Anakin's wrist comm pinged, he answered it, [Anakin, Grievous is coming your way, he's preparing to jump ship, Rath is in pursuit and does not look happy!] Obi-Wan said, Anakin and Gallia went their separate ways after some debate, a few minutes later Grievous's lander took a hit from some debris from his destroyed ship, Rath and his boarding party returned to the Endurance, when Rath received a private transmission...from Obi-Wan, Rath answered it, "I know I know... I have some explaining to do..." Rath said still a bit mad at not only himself for letting his emotions get the better of him, but also at Grievous for siding with the ones responsible for Rath's condition to begin with, [Yes you do, and I suggest you start from the very beginning general, any knowledge you have on Grievous would be helpful.] Obi-Wan said, Rath sighed there was absolutely no way he was getting out of this, "Then make yourself comfortable Obi-Wan, this is a long story..."
