After I had told Lucy that she had to wait, she was pretty bummed but she didn't lose hope. I could tell that I dimmed her spirit but hadn't put it out fully. I asked Jacob if we could take Lucy and leave and he said that it was probably the best time to go. We got her and raced out to the car. We had Lucy lay down in the back so nobody saw her and we started to drive. We finally were home after a few hours. I was so glad to have her home. We fed her and I think she loved it. We made her her favorite meal, lasagna. She almost ate the whole pan. We stayed with her in her room just because she might have nightmares.

Ping...Ping....Boosh!
Holy Shit we were getting shot at. I heard a couple of them hit the house but then one had hit my window. I hit the floor and ran or slid twords the door. I ran into Lucy's room and she was on the floor too. "Lucy, lay on the floor and slide twords me!" I heard a faint ok and saw her coming around the corner of the bed after a few seconds. My mom and dad also slid out of their doors and checked on us. By that time we were getting rained on with bullets. I had an idea who was shooting at us. I think that the mysterious man had followed us home. He must have seen Lucy get into the car and had followed us. We slid down the stairs and the bullets were just missing us by inches. I reached for the phone and a bullet skimmed my hand. It burned so bad but I didn't hesitate to grab the phone and once again hit the floor. I dialed 911. " 911 what is your emergency?" I was trying to talk over the bullets. " We are getting shot at! Please send cops and an abulance to my house." Immediatley I hung up and focused on the main problem that we were having. My parents and sister were huddling under the table. I joined them and we threw around ideas on what to do. We decieded to wait until the cops got to our house but it wasn't working. Sooner or later they would come into the house. We ran for the back door. We had a guest house and there wasn't anybody in the back yard. Once we got in there we started to make up new plans. I went into the bathroom and washed my face off. I heard a door open and the suffling of feet. I shut off the light and hid behind the door. I poked my head out to see a man pushing my family across the lawn. I grabbed a pan and headed for him. Smack. Thud. I hit him in the back of the head and he passed out. We left him there and headed for the house. We heard sirens and the thud of people hitting the floor. We walked in and saw cops and a ton of people with handcuffs on. Apparently the mysterious man had called for backup. When all the cops had left, we spent a ton of time together as a family. We watched movies and talked to eachother for ages it seemed like. And that was the end of The Kidnapping.
