*Tricia's POV*

"Girl... You were going to tell me about Trevor?" I asked playfully as I place my bulky file on the floor. Leaning against the lockers, I look up expectantly at Abigail.

"Well, technically I did... but you just daydreamed through the whole thing yesterday..." Abigail pointed out.

"Abigail... don't pick on that." I frowned. "You know how I'm prone to daydream... Have you heard that extreme sleepiness is a disease called Narcolepsy? Maybe extreme daydreaming is also an illness... You can't pick on my illness!" I spoke defiantly.

"I know, I know..." Abigail muttered.

"Well then, go on. Describe to me what happened yesterday as Trevor asked you out!" I urged Abigail with eyes filled with anticipation. "In all its glorious details please." I added.

She looked at me and described. "It started with him waiting for me around my locker yesterday after lunch. After I took my books for the next class that I was attending, Trevor offered to walk with me to our next class. I was thrilled off course. I always thought that he didn't even know that we had the same Calculus class. So as we were approaching the class, he handed me a piece of paper and walked into class nonchantly. I nervously unfolded the piece of paper and it read Will you be my girlfriend? I had thought that it was a joke at first but throughout the whole lesson, he could not stop passing me notes with sentences like I really, really like you or You make me feel butterflies in my stomach. I didn't answer him for the entire lesson-"

"You didn't answer for the entire lesson? Wow sassy, when did you learn to play hard to get?" I interrupted.

She looked at me clearly annoyed that I had interrupted her sentence.

I knock my head and winced as I realised I had unknowingly allowed my bad habit to come out again. I quickly mouthed sorry and motioned for her to continue.

"Anyway... as I was saying, I didn't answer him for the entire lesson because Mr Potterson was extremely strict. I clearly did not want to get into detention and get stuck with those delinquents for the rest of the afternoon. As I was walking out of the class after class had finally ended, he grabbed my arm and pulled me close to him, whispering to me asking me to become his Girlfriend. I trembled a little and finally mustered all my courage to answer a meek yes." She blushed heavily.

"Trevor immediately grinned at me and said that he would meet me outside of school after school tomorrow which is today for a surprise date. And that is the story of how Trevor asked me out. I'm so excited I doubt I'll be listening in any classes today!" She squealed.

"Aww... I'm so glad that you're finally dating. I hope he makes you a really happy girl and brings you flowers and holds your ha-" I stopped.

In a distance, I could make out a figure rushing towards our direction and on closer look, it was Landon. His hair was messy and disheveled and he was definitely still wearing the shirt that he had wore to sleep the night before. Sensing that he's out to confront me about the little something I did an hour ago. I saw it as time to take my leave.

"Erm... Abi... I have to leave first. Text me how it goes tonight!" I said. Before Abigail could even give me a decent reply, I had already turned around and started walking away from the impending doom named Landon. When I finally reached a safe distance from Landon, I vaguely recalled that Abigail had called my name a few times but I quickly dismissed it as I knew she will text me if it's something really important.
