The news reporter flashed on the T.V
"A man has been spotted with a gun after midnight in front of the Pacific Inn. Later, a couple said to be going to a concert were found shot dead."
Mitch felt a pang in his chest. Tears swelled in his eyes. He reached for Scott's arm and squeezed it, glancing up to see his damp cheeks.
A murderer in our hotel.
They knew it was crazy, but how else could Avi have been gone so long?
