By the time it was lunch, I start walking towards the lunchroom when I got a side eye from everyone except Scott and Liam. I turn and walk down an empty and I'm guessing an unused hallway. I walk down and found a staircase and sit down. I decided to call Colson.
"Hello?" He answers sleepily
"Did I wake you?" I smile and he yawns
"Yes, what's goin' on?"
"I hate this place."
"Well everyone hates school Maddie." Colson laughs and I roll my eyes
"These people here are...weird. They're fake, I can't tell who'se genuine and who isn't." I sigh and hear shifting
"Ignore it. That's what you do best right?"
"Colson I will drive down there and fight you, I don't care how grown you think you are."
"I'm the legal adult here."
"But do you act like it?"
"......That's besides the point Mads." Colson laughs and I smile and look down, rocking my foot side to side
"I wish you could come, like right now and take me out of school." I sigh
"Same here, we could go down to that one race track we used to go to."
"where I always win?"
"I let you win multiple times."
"Sure thing Cole." I smile and Colson was in the middle of replying when I hear a voice behind me
"Maddison." Scott says and I turn around
"Cole Imma call you back." I say
"Alright, be good." He says and I hang up
"Why are you down here? Everyone is at lunch." He says and I take a step down
"I'm not hungry." I lie and Scott was quiet for a second, studying me
"You're lying." He says and I put one foot on the step below me
"I'm not welcome in your little...pack, alright. I'm not meant to fit in so I'm not going try." I say and he steps forward and I take a step back.
"Just-"
"Scott quit acting nice...please." I say and he sighs
"Just leave me alone." I say and walk past him and out the stairwell and went back to the main halls.
Later on right when I was about to leave the building, I grabbed my helmet from my locker and the rest of my things when I hear Violet talking.
"Scott I don't trust her, stop trying to get her to come into the pack." She says quietly and Scott sighs
"It's something about her that needs to be in the pack." He says and Stiles scoffs
"Yeah right Scott. You're just being nice." He says and Scott shook his head
"I like her." Liam says and everyone turns to him
"Shut up Liam." Stiles, Violet ad Maliah says and I turn to them and take my earphones out
"If you're going to talk about me, say it to my face next time. You act like I want to be in your little group of friends. It'd be best if you guys leave me alone and pretend you never met me." I say and they were silent and I walk off and get on my motorcycle and was about to ride off when someone stands beside me.
"Nice ride." A cocky tone says and I look up and see a boy smirking with dark hair
"Thanks." I say and I start putting my gloves on when he holds his hand out
