MADDISON

As I walk aimlessly, I feel like I'm being watched. I look around but there was still no one there. I speed up my walk and as soon as I get to Stiles Jeep, the boy from earlier shows up. I groan and he walks up to me.

"You leaving the party already?"

"Yeah, why?"

"I was just looking for you. I saw you and Scott's little pack take you down to the basement so I had to check a-"

"You were being nosy. What do you want boy?" I ask and he leans against Stiles' car.

"What they said, crazy right?" He asks and I nod

"They sound like idiots."

"Well they aren't wrong." He says and before I know it we both are walking in the forest back towards the party.

"You sayin' you're a wolf too?" I ask and he turns to me, us both stopping a couple hundred feet in front of the house

"Somewhat." He says and his eyes flash a golden yellow and I take one step back

"Lemme see you...canines or whatever." I say and his eyes flash golden and he bares his teeth

"So you can 'sense my scent' too?" I ask and he nods

"That's what attracted me to you."

"So it wasn't my beauty of darkness?" I ask sarcastically with a smile and he laughs a little

"You are a beauty, but no." He says and I smile

"Alright Theo, can you tell me what I am?" I ask and sit on a high rock and he shakes his head

"I sadly can not. I was hoping you knew, but we can figure it out together." He says and I raise a brow

"We're still not friends."

"Ouch baby that hurt."

"Don't call me baby Theo I got a boyfriend." I smile looking down at him and he smirks

"What ever you say, baby."

Theo actually took me home this time and he, isn't that bad. I didn't let him come inside the house obviously since I just met him, but we did exchange numbers. I was on face time with Colson when there was thumping downstairs. I told Colson and said to go check it out and I pull out the hand gun my mom gave me, STRICTLY for emergencies' and showed him.

"Aw my baby got a new toy." He jokes and I stuck my tongue out and he laughs. I hear talking come from outside my door and I put my finger to my lips and aimed the gun at the door. The door knob slowly opens as I cocked my gun and it stops. I smirk and was about to shoot the handle to scare away the person who was there when Liam and Stiles open the door and immediately dropped to the ground.

"Why are you guys here?! What happened to, pretend you never met me?" I ask and they get up and Liam laughs

"Baby who's that?" Colson says and I grab my phone

"Two idiots from school." I say and he chuckles

"Is that your boyfriend?" Liam asks and I raise a brow

"What do you think?" I ask sarcastically and put my gun down

"Cole I'm going to call you back. We still on for tomorrow?"

"Yeah we are."

"Thanks babe, love you." I smile

"Love you too baby." He smiles back and we hang up

"I never seen you smile, it's so pretty." Liam says and I frown

"You're about to see bullets fly in a minute if you don't tell me what's going on." I threaten and Scott walks in

"We need you, right now." He says and I groan

"Alright, get out, I need to change clothes." I say and they leave. I smirk and lock the door and put my earphones in and go straight to sleep.

I wake up the next morning and start to get ready. I finish with a red croptop with white skinny jeans and all red converse. I put my hair in a pony tail and walk out my room and down to the kitchen and grabbed some apple juice.

"Morning." I hear Scott's voice and jump, dropping my glass. I turn and see him, Liam and Stiles sitting at the dinner table with my mom on the phone coming down the stairs.

"How'd you sleep?" Scott asks like last night was nothing

"Mom! Intruders." I say and she waves me off, obviously not caring at the moment.

"Aw looks like mommy isn't paying attention." Stiles says and I was so close to shoot back an insult when Scott realizes it and jumps in

"Hey uh, let's talk?"

"You're talking now aren't you?"

"I think we know what you are." Liam says and I sit in front of him

"A human, just like loser over here." I say and Stiles groans

"Have you ever heard of Maleficent?" Stiles asks and I nod

"Yeah, she's supposed to be an evil fairy." I say and they nod

"You...you're basically Maleficent, except you can't do curses...you actually control elements. You're origin is like ancient Rome." Stiles says and pulls out a mythology book and shows a Maleficent look a like along with the original name and it's powers.

" Zână de elemente" I read and the words roll off my tongue easily

"You said that easily." Liam comments and I continue to read. I could see Stiles staring at me in my peripheral vision but I decided to ignore it just this once.

"Fairy of the elements and O Zeita means 'A Goddess'. So, it basically says, I'm a Goddess that controls the elements." I say and they nod

"I read on it as well, and it describes the scent of this type of Goddess and it matches you perfectly." Scott says and Liam nods

"And what is this scent?" I ask and raise my brow

"It's sweet, almost candy like." He says and I chuckle

"That's my perfume" I say and look back at the book and go back serious

"I mean, even if this were me, I never changed before..." I say and Scott sighs

"That part, I don't know why that is." He says and I nod

"Come to me when you know why." I say and Stiles claps out of nowhere and we look at him

"I never heard your voice with out an attitude, I'm so proud of you!'

"And I never heard you say something that doesn't make you sound dumb so I'm disappointed in you, but I'll always disappointed in you." I say and he opens his mouth to say something when I get keys tossed towards me and I catch it.

"Don't be late fore school." My mom says and I nod

"Thanks for the breakfast Ms. Levi." Scott calls

"No problem baby." she smiles before leaving

"She called me baby." He cheeses and I roll my eyes

"She's from Louisiana so she's going to do that." I say and I decide to finally clean up the glass.

"It says you can be very dangerous when extremely angry.." Liam says and I hum, listening to him

"Here's something, it says that the late shifters are always the strongest." Stiles reads and I stand up and lean over the table next to him, looking at the book.

"How powerful?" I ask aloud, reading for myself but noting said anything about it.

"Guess we'll have to find out." Scott says and I nod

"Guess so."
