CHAPTER THREE

ADRIAN'S POV

When I got to school, I hadn't been standing there for five minutes, when I hear this loud ass screeching noise and the roaring engine of a motorcycle. I turn around and my jaw literally drops to the floor. It was a really nice, sleek, all black DUCATI. What shocked me the most was the GIRL who got off of it. Wait! Isn't that Blaze's younger sister, Brianna, no, Bianca, no. Wait, his younger sister Britney, yea that's it. All the girls were jealous of her getting all the guys' attention and all the boys were wolf-whistling at her. For some reason my wolf got angry, jealous, over-protective, possesive, and anxious all at once. I didn't know what it was. When Britney made her way over to her brother she said something like

"Dad got me a motorcycle" and "He told me to make you jealous"

Then she starting laughing and saying how we all looked when she walked in. Britney then looked around and our eyes locked. I smelled the most amazing scent of waffles, wind, vanilla, coconuts and chocolate ice cream. That's when I realized what had my wolf so worked up. BRITNEY is my MATE. She looked shocked like she just realized it too. Then, she did the stupidest thing ever, she ran into the woods.

Of course, I followed her into the woods. When I was following her, I was thinking how she wouldn't make a good luna and how I was happy with the twins, Allyson and Scarlett. I mean what guy wants to be tied down to one girl when they can have two and not get shit about it.

When she finally stopped in a clearing and turned around noticing I followed her, she says, "Why did you follow me? I RAN AWAY FROM YOU TO GET AWAY FROM YOU, YOU MORON!!!!!!"

That did it for me. Her yelling at me makes it one hundred times easier to reject her.  I say,

" I, Adrian O'Conner, reject you, Britney Falls, as my mate and future Luna of the RedBlood Pack."

As I said that, my wolf was screaming at me to stop, but I didn't. What she said next suprises the Hell out of me. She says,

" Whatever, I never wanted a mate anyway and especially not to some man whore"

and turned around to walk back to school. I can't say that didn't hurt. I thought she would have put up a fight. ALL girls put up a fight to stay with me. Instead, she called me a fucking MAN- WHORE. I just watched her walk away and speed off on her new black Ducati. Damn, I still can't believe she got a Ducati. Man, I got to get one.

BRITNEY'S POV

I heard Adrian following me, but I didn't care. Why the fuck did the Moon Goddess set me up with the man whore of the school? When I reached the clearing, I was beyond pissed at the Moon Goddess and Adrian. I yelled,

"Why did you follow me? I RAN AWAY FROM YOU TO GET AWAY FROM YOU, YOU MORON!!!!!!"

Man, that was mean, but I don't really care. I am a bitch when angry. What Adrian says next suprised me

"I, Adrian O'Conner, reject you, Britney Falls, as my mate and future Luna of the RedBlood Pack."

Okay, I can't say that didn't feel like losing a piece of my self, but I don't want a man whore of a mate, so I tell him that. I say,

"Whatever, I never wanted a mate anyway and especially not to some man whore".

What? It's true. I was mad, so I just walked back to school, got on my Ducati and screeched my wheels again. This time to get away from school for a whole different reason. Having my mate reject me didn't hurt that much, but my wolf and I still had a right to be sad. If there was one thing I was certain of, he will regret what he just did to me. I will make sure off it.
