Ali's POV :

It's the last day of school... yet I'm not as excited as I usually am. Tomorrow morning I'll be on the plane, leaving California for good. I hate that my dad got a new job, and I hate that I have to start all over... In a new school... In a different state... With no friends.

I woke up the next morning from the sound of my neighbors lawnmower. It was 8:15 and are plane ride was at 11:40. I realized I had some time so I went on my phone. I had about 29 text messages from my friends from school saying how much they will miss me and to keep in touch, so I stayed in bed and replied to all of them. Once I was done I decided to take a shower. Since it was only 8:55 I had sometime and blow dried my hair. Then I did my usually routine, I put on mascara and some foundation and then got dressed. Because I was going to be on a plane all day I just wore leggings, flip flops, and a comfy t-shirt that had my old lacrosse teams logo on it.

I walked out of my room and turned around to look at my walls that are now bare and no longer covered with pictures, my desk with a huge box next to it ready to be taken apart so I can bring it to my new home, and my closet that was basically empty besides a few clothing items that I still needed to pack... The only thing I really had in my room was my bed that was also about to be broken apart and shipped to my new address.

I sighed and started walking downstairs, thinking about all the memories I have had in this house as I made my way into the kitchen. I loved this house and I was sad to leave. As I sat down at the island in kitchen next to my brother Liam my thoughts soon got interrupted by my mom,

"Honey, what do u want for breakfast? We don't have much but I'm sure I can whip up something for you."

"No Mom it's fine, I'll just have some Fruit Loops, I don't want you to worry about cooking, when you should be worrying about making sure we don't forget anything!" I said with a laugh.

"Hahaha, your right! And I'm sorry for all of this guys. I know it's sudden and scary but you're both gonna be fine in North Carolina! You too are such amazing people and once we get there, everyone is going to notice and they are all gonna wanna be your friends!" She replied as she started to take the Fruit Loops out of the cabinet for me.

"I promise." She then added as she took the milk out of the fridge.

After breakfast I had my two best friends Hayley and Emily come over for the last time. We went to my room and we talked about everything as I finished up my packing. They started talking about this person on vine named Nash Grier. I had no idea who they were talking about so they started to show me some of his vines. They were really funny but then I got to a vine and there was another boy in it. He was really cute and seemed about our ages. I asked them and then said that his name was Hayes Grier, Nash's thirteen year old brother.

At 10:15 I had to say goodbye. I hugged them so tight and told them not to forget about me. I started crying as I made my way to the car, that was gonna drive us to LAX. As the car started to pull way I looked behind and saw Hayley and Emily crying, and behind them was the house that I had lived in my whole life. I was sad to see it go.

The car ride to the airport was only 40 minutes away, and let me tell you.. They were the longest 40 minutes of my life. The whole ride to the airport Liam wouldn't stop talking about his obnoxious girlfriend Reagan and how he was going to miss her so much. I thought I was gonna explode if he didn't stop.

We finally reached LAX and we're now on the plane on our way to North Carolina. Since I called window seat, Liam got stuck in the aisle with my parents seated behind us. I looked out the window as we started to lift off the ground. I thought about my life and how much it was about to change. I started to tear up as I watched the palm trees starting to get smaller and smaller until I couldn't see them at all.
