~5 months later~
I happily walk around the apartment. My apartment which I decided to go back to when Harry had to leave for his movie. He's been gone a couple of months and we've FaceTimed every day. I found better work for me with better people, it even pays better.
He's coming home today because today is special, it's the day we find out what our baby is.
I still haven't got the courage to go see my parents. I need to see them especially now. Especially since their grandchild will be here in a few months. Their grandchild whom they know nothing about. They don't even know I'm pregnant.
A knock sounds on my door and I recognize it all too well. I run over to it and swing it open. Harry stands there in a pink button up and plain black skinny jeans and his usual boots.
I attack him with a massive hug and kiss him over and over. My god I've missed him.
"Hi." he says softly.
"Hi I missed you so much!" I say.
"I missed you more." he says pecking my lips.
He places his hand on my now big belly. I'm huge now and I don't want to know how big I'm going to be when I'm 9 months along.
"You look beautiful." he smiles.
"Thank you." I smile back.
"Are you wearing slippers?" he questions.
"No, their called moccasins and it's the only shoes I can wear comfortably." I say.
"Come on let's go."
I squeal with excitement causing him to laugh. I run back and kiss my Biscuits who's eating and grab my purse.
~
At the doctors office I can't help the excitement bubbling inside me. When the nurse calls my name I spring up and practically run to the door. I'm so beyond excited. What if it's a boy and not a girl? I will love it just the same. I can tell Harry's anxious too. Maybe just as much as I am. When the doctor comes in I get even more excited.
