A brisk breeze cold air along with the sounds of beeping and whooshing wake me up. I focused my eyes I do rubbing them a few times and I am able to identify that I am in the hospital.

What in the world am I doing here?

I watched doctors and nurses who walk to where they need to be. I want to get their attention but my doors closed. My stomach grumbles but I feel a little nauseous at the moment.

A female doctor walked in after what seems like an hour of waiting.

"Oh, you're finally awake."

"Yes, I'm awake. What am I doing here?"

"You fainted and your fiancé brought you in last night. He was quite worried about your well-being." She begins her check for vitals everything else needed for her chart.

"Fainted? Probably due to stress and such. I have had a lot going on lately." I take a gander at what I think possibly caused me to pass out.

The nurse begins to chuckle, "oh no, Sirrah."

"No?"

"No. It's because you're pregnant and you were a little dehydrated. You have to drink water."

All of a sudden I felt as though I was going to pass out again. "Me? Pregnant? But?" I was asked her how could that have been or how could that happen. But I already knew how it happened so to ask that question would be ridiculous.

"Yes, ma'am." She looks at my chart. "You are seven weeks pregnant. Have you been feeling nauseous or dizzy lately? Maybe eating foods you normally don't eat?"

That would explain it all. I don't normally eat chicken from any fried chicken place, but lately, that's all I have been wanting to eat.

"From time to time. I figured it was because of something else. Maybe bad chicken or something." I raise my eyebrows.

"Now, you know the real reason behind it. Congratulations."

"Did you tell my fiancé?" I ask in a panic.

"Oh no. We usually leave that for you girls to do that. However, we do inform the males if the girl is way too scared to do it."

"Ah," A familiar weight is now on my shoulders. Now that I am pregnant, not only must I tell Shiriki, but I have to also tell Roy. I loathe at the time I have to do that. "Thank you."

The nurse nods and leaves the room.

I grab the remote and turn the television on. I find a re-run of Hell's Kitchen. Oh yeah, a new episode comes on tonight. A recap of what's going on and who's been eliminated.

I have to come up with a way to tell Shiriki I'm pregnant. Where in the crud is he anyway? We hadn't even spoken too much about having a child. I rub my face vigorously and groan.

Five minutes later, he walks in with a dozen roses and two extremely large get well balloons.

"Honey, are you okay?" He rushes over to me when he sees that I am awake. "I bought you some balloons and flowers."

"Thank you, Riki." He hands me the flowers and I take it. I can smell them already, I hold back the bile that threatens to spill out of my mouth. I place the flowers on a table by my bed.

He takes my hand and pulls up a chair.

"How are you feeling? You gave me a scare."

"I'm alright."

"Wonderful. I got Tyasia to get you some food."

"I am starting to get a little hungry. Where were you?" I'm stalling until I can come up with a way to tell him I'm pregnant.
