Chapter Eight

*The doctors finish the surgery and see if she was gonna wake up. dom walks in and sees if she was okay now.*
Dominic: anything?
Doctor: no. but don't worry, she isn't deep into her coma, she might wake up in a day or two.
Dominic: oh thank god!
Doctor: we are just going to keep giving her medicine while we wait.
*the nurse walks in*
Nurse: i am sorry sir visiting hours are over. you can come back tomorrow at 10am
Dominic: i can't just leave Lilly here! what if she wakes up while i am gone.
Nurse: i am sorry but you have to go now.
*dominic looks over at lilly and sighs*
Dominic: i will be back tomorrow Lilly.
*he walks out and begins walking a few blocks back to his car. when he gets in all he starts getting super nervous. he is trying to calm down but he cant. he starts thinking that maybe the reason Lilly got in a car accident was because of him. Dom hits his head with his hand and starts driving. the whole way he couldn't stop thinking about it. he gets home and gets out the car. when he opens the door he starts feeling even more bad like he did something wrong. he laid in bed, and started to stare at the ceiling. he got so lost in thought he couldn't sleep. he keeps rolling over but before he knows it. the sun was coming up. he sat up and splashed water on his face. Dom looks at himself in the mirror and starts getting really angry. he looks and tells himself "Lilly could have died. and you weren't there to protect her" he keeps saying that in his head over and over. he gets so mad to the point where he punched the mirror. he hit it so hard it broke and he cut opened his hand. he looked down at his fist and didn't even care, he shook it around and tied it up with some bandage. he got ready and drove down to the hospital to see Lilly.*
Dominic: Here to see Lilly Singh.
Nurse: go on up.
*dominic goes up stairs to her room to see her still unconscious. he sits down next to her and just starts praying she will wake up. the doctor walks in*
Doctor: good morning Dominic... rough night sleep i can tell.
Dominic: actually no sleep at all.
Doctor: *he nods and looks at his hand* what happened?
Dominic: oh, i got mad.. there was a mirror.. i'm fine though.
Doctor: we should give an X-ray to see if there is any glass in your hand.
Dominic: but.
Doctor: it won't be long you will be back in 2-3 hours dont worry.
*he nods and gets up, he looks down at Lilly and starts blaming himself again. he walks out into another room, they did the X-ray to find one big piece of glass deep in his hand*
Doctor: this won't hurt Dominic we just have to get this *he points to the screen* piece of glass out of your hand okay? *he nods* and after we are going to give you stitches, *dom nods, he doesn't really care about his hand he is more worried about Lilly. back in the room where Lilly is at the nurse walks in and gives Lilly her medicine, as the nurse is walking out Lilly takes a really deep breath and shoots up*
Lilly: WHAT HAPPENED!
Nurse: calm down Miss, you were in an accident and entered a coma. but hey look your awake! yay!
Lilly: how long have i been here
Nurse: oh just 2 days, your boyfriend has been so sweet and been by your side since the accident. i will go get the doctor now. *she walks out*
Lilly: boyfriend?
*the doctor finishes stitching up his hand, the nurse walks in with a smile*
Nurse: Doctor, she woke up!
Doctor: oh goodie. you hear that Dominic! Lilly woke up!
Dominic: LET ME SEE HER!
Doctor: once we are done bandaging you up you can see her. *he nods and they begin putting the bandage on. when they finish dom gets up and rushes out, he gets to Lilly's room to see her rubbing her head*
Dominic: LILLY YOU'RE OKAY!
*he rushes in and hugs her tightly.*
Lilly: *she laughs and hugs him back* yeah i'm fine! what are you doing here!?
Dominic: i was there when the accident happened. i needed to make sure you were okay. Lilly. I Love you.
*She starts blushing and smiling super hard*
Lilly: Really?!
Dominic: yes Lilly *he smiles and grabs her hands*
Lilly: I love you too Dominic. *they both hug each other super tight and the doctor walks in*
