Lauren's POV

"I told you we should've gone with the Russian roulette." – I mumbled under my breath, hiding my face behind my cards as I slouch impossibly farther back into my chair. We were screwed. My smart ass of a best friend, Dinah Jane, dragged me into this stupid game of poker and bet the small number of things we barely owned and clanged onto. Which, we were just about to lose.
"And why did you bet everything we own?" I exclaimed through gritted teeth.

"Well when you got nothing ,you got nothing to lose." Dinah whispered back to me raising a brow.

"-And It's not my fault you're so bad at this!" Dinah whispered harshly to me through her gritted teeth. I subtly snapped my head in her direction spitting a harsh comment through my teeth quietly as well.

"Don't you dare blame this on me, you little- "

"AHEM!" – Coughed one of the guys we were playing against, aiming a smug smile at us. Eugene Muriel. We sat straight up instantly and looked at the men at our table.

Don't mind the laughable, idiotic name that is Eugene Muriel. The dude was one of the toughest guys around. Dinah and I are pretty sure he's already killed someone.

"We are trying to crush your whiny little asses over here." – Said the other guy, whose name I don't recall. In fact, no one does. He's just the kid who follows Eugene around like a lost puppy. He thinks he's such a hard dude, but with that slim, I-think-I-caught-the-black-plague kind of look, I could take that dude one handed.
As much as I wanted to, that Eugene-cock-sucker was always around. And there was no way in hell I was going to be able to take him in a fight.

"Very well, ladies." – I announced, emerging from my useless hiding spot – "It looks like you've won. Congratulations. Not like we need any of this to live or anything. " – I mumbled off the last part as My cards were thrown to the table and I started to get up, only to be stopped by Eugene's fist hitting the solid surface of the table with a loud "THUMP".

"Dude!" – Dinah cried out – "Can you not!"

"You are not leaving until we tell you to, Jauregui! Now sit your pretty ass back and end this like a man!"

"I'm no nasty ass man." I said, shooting him a nasty look and rolling my eyes but obeying. I didn't want to lose everything I owned and get myself beaten up on the Same day. I slowly lowered myself down with a quirked brow.

"Oh, you aren't? I'm sorry; we didn't know there was a 'She' under those dirty old clothes. Women wear dresses, not trousers." – Eugene's friend snickered.

"We should go and get your pretty dress then, you pansy." I said bluntly with a rose brow crossing my arms over my chest.

"Now you listen to me, you insolent slu-"

"Shut up!" – Yelled Eugene from above us. His friend went quiet instantly, showing me the middle finger before relaxing in his chair once again. With a snobbish look, Eugene sat back down and retrieved two tickets from his pocket, throwing them on the table in front of our confused eyes. Me and Dinah looked precariously at the slips of paper confused.

"What is this?" Dinah asked reaching to see the tickets. Before she could touch them, the big ape slammed his hands down on the tickets and put them more into the middle. The blonde-haired girl beside me eased back into her seat.

"Tickets...Titanic tickets"

"What?!" – Dinah and I screeched at the same time, reaching for the tickets for the 2nd time but instantly having Eugene taking them away from us – "No, no. Not yet. What do you say if we make this more...interesting?"
