Kissing the Friendly Ghost

I look between Jack and Finn then try to only focus on how they are similar. I try to ease out of Finn’s grip but he doesn’t want to let go. “Finn.” I say quietly into his ear after kissing his cheek. “Let go.”

“I don’t want him kissing you!” he growls back deeply.

“It’s ok. It’s only a game, there’s a reason I went on a date with you and not him.” A say softly making him release after kissing my lips one more time. Jack crawled across Finn and I finished the gap, Jacksgap. (Sorry couldn’t help it) I searched for the spark I felt with Finn but there was nothing there. I pull back after a few seconds of holding our lips to each other’s plainly. I wait for him to sit down seeing the smirk he throws at his brother out of the corner of my eye.  I don’t spin the bottle till I have permission from Finn to actually kiss whoever it is without acting like a child. He agreed as long as it wasn’t Jack. When I finally spin the bottle I hope that it will land on Finn so I have an excuse to kiss him, instead it stops on the other side of the circle.

“Me!” Caspar screams as he jumps up on both knees. When were close enough to whisper without anyone hearing he says. “Let’s give them a show.” I smile and he places his hands on my hips, I do the same with his neck and we move in slowly. We kiss passionately as if we have kissed before. We pulled back after what I’m guessing was a long time because everyone just kept staring at us, but all I could think about is the fact I was just kissing another one of the guys I have obsessed over for years.

I sit down and kiss Finn happily. As Caspar spins the bottle. Now I’m a little more comfortable and less nervous as Finn grabs my hand kissing the top of it. I watch the bottle not really caring that it’s going to land on till I see it point back at me. I laugh and lean in kissing Caspar just as we did before but this time I pulled away quicker. I spun the bottle and had to kiss Shelby. In reality we smashed our lips so they didn’t even show when you looked at us but we acted like we were really kissing. We pulled apart and wiped our lips winking at each other making Andrea laugh since she knew what was happening.

Shelby spun the bottle and kissed Marcus, Marcus then kissed Sam, Sam kissed Troye, Troye kissed Sam again, Sam kissed Jenn, and then Jenn kissed Finn. They seemed to stay hooked up for hours but it was only a few second tops. I felt like hitting them both but just laugh thinking about how stupid that was since he just watched me kiss one of his best friends and his brother. He spun the bottle and landed on me. We both jumped up happily and everyone turned away as if we we’re going to have sex in the middle of the room. Instead we kiss a few times then I spin the bottle, Caspar, are you kidding me.

We kiss again and I have to pull back because I'm smiling too much. I laugh quietly so only I can hear myself and watch as Caspar kisses Andrea. Then she kisses Dan being his first kiss of the night they go at it and everyone yells and claps their hands. Dan then has to kiss Caspar. We all watch as if they were spiders on the wall and that if we looked away they would disappear. When they pulled away after a few awkward second Casper spun the bottle again, me. “Why?” I yell out not meaning to.

“Well I’m glad you think highly of me.” he says sadly.

“That’s not what I meant.” I say laughing then leading in and kissing him again. We pull away due to us both laughing and I spin the bottle. I guess this bottle thinks it’s a match maker due to the fact it lands on Caspar yet again. We kissed for a second then I had to pull away because I was laughing so much. When I finally when to go back in and try again I laughed right in his face when he closed our eyes and I had to sit down.

“Wow.” I hear Dan say over my laughter. “Way to laugh in someone’s face, literally.” I could hear the laughter filling to room including Caspar. I apologize as best I could between fits of giggles.

“I think I’m done with this.” I say standing up and sitting on the couch.

“No!” Marcus complains as everyone turns towards him. “The only way for me to win the game is to kiss everyone.” He says throwing his hands in the air. I watch as he stand up and kisses Finn first who is taken by surprise, Jack is his next victim, Jenn, Dan, Troye, Andrea, Sam, Caspar, and finally making his way to me and planting a kiss right on my lips he then stands back up and makes another announcement. “Now that I’m officially the winner I’m going to sleep.” He walks up stairs and waves as if he was the queen before disappearing into his room. Soon the girls get a call from my bother and head home after talking to the guy for a few more minutes. Finn, Caspar and I were the last to bail.

“Well I had fun kissing your girlfriend, but I think I’m going to sleep.” Caspar laughs as he stands up off the couch that is now back in front of the T.V. where it’s supposed to be.

“Ok night Caspar.” I say standing up and hugging him. When I sit back down I lay across Finn’s lap and we both wave at Caspar as he blows kisses at us from the top of the stair.

Finn and I talk for a few hours. We talked about everything and anything that came across our minds. I only took a few minutes for me to get tired but I forced myself to stay awake. When I finally couldn’t fight it anymore I gave in slipping into a deep sleep while I rest my head on Finn’s chest, the warmth of his body heating up the air all around us.
