Anika
I worked for a good hour and a half then I finally crashed. I stood up and stretched my limbs. I glanced over at Saeyoung and smiled.
"Alright God Seven! Time for a break! Let's eat something," I said and stood behind him.
"I'm not hungry," he waved me off.
"It's not an option. Come on. I've made some food. It'd be rude to decline a woman's hard work," I said.
"Alright alright. I'll eat. We should probably get on the messenger and tell the others so there aren't any more secrets," he said and stood.
"I thought the same thing. So let's eat first before the food gets cold, then we can log on and tell everyone," I nodded.
We sat at the table and started eating. I couldn't help but stare at Saeyoung. He glanced up mid bite and stopped.
"Is there something on my face?" He asked and put his free hand on his cheek.
"No no," I giggled. "I just think it's cute how you take small bites and then a large bite. It's almost as if you're testing the food to see if it's real or good and then confirm it."
"O-Oh!" He blushed.
"Sorry. I tend to be subtle," I said and took a bite of food.
"It's fine. I'm glad you're honest," he shrugged.
"I don't feel like it sometimes," I mumbled.
"Hey now. Some secrets are meant to be told at a time you feel is best," he said and stood by me.
My phone rang the familiar ringtone I've heard once today. I squeaked and pulled it out. It showed Saeran's ID, so I answered.
"Finally! Do you realise how long I've been wanting to call again?!" He rushed.
"Sea. Breathe. I'm not going anywhere. Well, except to my laptop in a minute to get back to work," I laughed.
"God I missed your laugh," he groaned.
"A little late for saying that, don't ya think? Considering you're the one that chose to leave me in the dark," I scowled. "By the way, thanks for leading me to the apartment. Thanks to you, I'm happily talking to a particular guy. Speaking of which, you and I need to have a talk young man."
"Luciel is there with you, isn't he?" He asked worriedly.
"Shall I put you on speaker, or is our conversation going have to be secretive?" I asked.
"I don't want anything to do with him," he growled.
"Why not, Saeran?!" I exclaimed. "He's your brother, damn it!"
"No he isn't. If he was my brother, then he wouldn't have left me," he stated.
"I'm visiting soon, so don't do anything stupid. Saeran, please trust me though. I won't do anything to hurt you, I promise. I still care about you. So, I'll be bringing Saeyoung with me. I won't let anything bad happen, and if you absolutely want, we will give you time to think and we'll leave. But he deserves a chance to tell you his reason for leaving," I said.
"Anika," he whispered.
"I'm doing this because I want what's best for the both of you. It may not be my place to say, but I won't allow to people I cherish that are siblings, go on like this. I don't even have any siblings, but if I did, you best bet your ass I would take time to sit down with him or her and talk things out," I stated.
"Alright. I'll accept it. Just because you want me to," he sighed.
"REALLY?!" I squealed and shot up.
"Yes really. Stop screaming like a hyperactive fangirl," he chuckled.
"Of course I'm gonna scream like a hyperactive fangirl! You agreed to Saeyoung joining!" I exclaimed.
"When will you two be visiting?" He asked.
"Well, we're finishing up work now, so probably tomorrow afternoon," I answered.
"Alright. I guess I should get ready," he said.
"Eeek! I'll be seeing my bestie again!" I exclaimed happily.
"Goodnight, Nika." He laughed and hung up.
"So... Good news is, he's accepting you joining me, if you want though," I said and beamed at Luciel.
He didn't say anything. He just hugged me. We eventually cleaned up and he watched as I finished up his work for him, as I had previously insisted on. He wound up falling asleep in the middle of telling the others about everything.
Of course, once I finished up, I had to pick him up and carried him to the bed and laid him down. I tucked him in, then I laid on the open side of the bed.
What surprised me was when he rolled over onto me and wrapped me in his arms as he slept between my legs. "Nika..." He whispered.
I sighed in content and fell asleep to his warmth. I slept like a rock until morning. Where I felt him shifting. I opened my eyes and saw him staring down at me. My face started burning up.
"Good morning," he said and smiled.
"G-Good morning," I gulped.
"You're so cute when blushing," he chuckled.
"I could get used to waking up like this," I mumbled to myself.
"Come on. I made breakfast. To thank you," he said and sat up.
"Thank me?" I asked.
"For talking to Saeran about hearing me out," he said.
"It's nothing, really. I was just trying to help out after keeping such secrets that you deserved to know," I said.
"Come on. Eat so we can get on the road. I traced the coordinates that way I can drive for you and you can rest a little more if you need to," he said.
"This is really happening..." I said and teared up.
"Don't cry. It'll be ok," he cooed and hugged me.
"After all this time, I didn't think this would actually happen. I was afraid that you would hate me. Not only for hiding the fact of being a hacker like you, but also knowing about your brother," I said and accepted his embrace.
"You still think I should hate you?" He asked.
"Why don't you?!" I asked.
"You had your reasons. Just like I have mine. Besides, you helped get Saeran to agree to me visiting with you," he answered.
"And you don't question me?" I asked.
"Only one question. Would you have gone without me if he had still called?" He asked.
"Probably, but only because it's been so long," I answered. The look on his face had sunk. "But not because I have feelings for him that aren't even there. Saeran and I had a playful relationship, but it was only as friends. You're the one that caught my heart when he kept going on about you."
"I caught your heart at such a young age?" He asked in shock.
I nodded my head and started walking to the table. I sat at my seat, ate the food, and waited for his next response. It didn't come. Although, I did get a buzz about a new chatroom.
