Anika
"Come on Elly. We're gonna have so much fun," I said and carried her inside.
Once we made it, I spoke with the security team and they gave me the clear to enter. I entered and set Elly down gently.
"Come on girly. I bet you're hungry," I said and smiled at her.
She meowed and followed after me. I could hear her purrs the entirety of the small trip. I fed her the exact amount Jumin informed me to the first time I cat-sat Elizabeth the 3rd.
As she ate, I told Jumin's maid that she could go home and I'd finish up. That's exactly what I did as Elizabeth ate. I cleaned the rest of his place from top to bottom.
Elizabeth the 3rd finished her food and pranced over to me. I sat down and started playing with her as a cat should be shown attention. She continuously licked my hand and playfully claw at me.
After a hour into giving her attention, I did send a picture to Saeyoung by the way, Jumin walked in and stopped once he saw us. I glanced up at him and smiled.
"Hey Jumin!" I greeted.
"I see you two are having fun. Mind if I take a picture for a scrapbook?" He asked.
"Oh! Not at all!" I answered. Elly sat in my lap and looked up at me. "Picture time Elly."
She leaned in to me and started purring. Jumin took advantage of this and snapped a picture. I looked at him cheekily and stood. Elly kept pawing at my leg and meowed.
"I should get heading back now. I gotta make sure Luciel and Saeran haven't killed each other yet," I chuckled and hugged him.
"Drive safely," he said and hugged back. "Thank you for caring for Elizabeth the 3rd. She seems to have enjoyed your company more than she does assistant Kang's."
"In all fairness, Jaehee is a busy girl," I defended and smiled.
"I cannot deny that," he agreed.
"Goodnight JuJu. Sleep well tonight. Goodnight sweet Elly. I might get to see you tomorrow at the party. Sleep well," I said and crouched down.
I rubbed under her chin, earning a purr from her, then I stood back up and excused myself. I said my goodbyes to the security guards as I left and made my way back to the apartment. I picked up my phone unknowingly and dialed Saeyoung's number.
"Is something wrong?? Did something happen?!" Saeyoung's panicked voice flowed through my ears. I couldn't help but smile.
"Nothing's wrong. I just wanted to let you know that I'm on my way back," I giggled.
"Ahhhh. Thank God! How long?" He asked.
"Just a few minutes. I might need to make a stop for a drink, as I didn't want to take anything from Jumin's fridge, so if I'm a bit late, I don't want you to wait up for me, ok? Get your rest." I answered.
"I want to wait for you though," he pouted.
"Saeyoung," I said gently.
"Yes my dear?" He asked.
"Please get some rest. Once you wake up, I'll be right by your side after placing a soft kiss on your cheek," I said just above a whisper.
"Alright then. I'll get some sleep," he gave in.
"Thank you," I smiled. "If Saeran is still awake, tell him I demand he gets some sleep as well."
"Anything for you," he said.
"Thank you. I'll be off now. I'll be there in a bit," I said and blew a kiss through the phone.
"Drive safely," he said.
"I will," I said.
He hung up after a second passed. I pulled into the parking lot of the closest convenient store and got out. I went in, grabbed two bottles of water and Ph.D Pepper, and went to the counter.
"Do you happen to have any Honey Buddah Chips?" I asked.
"Why?" The man behind the register asked.
"Well, it's my friends favorite snack, and he's been going through a rough patch after both his parents passed away last week," I answered.
Clerk's. Always have to bribe them for this crap. I always find so much difficulty to do so, but I know it's Saeyoung's favorite snack.
"What cause?" He asked.
"They were shot. A local store in the town nearby was robbed at the same they were shopping," I answered.
"I'll give you a box then. I feel bad for the guy," he said. "Ready to pay for everything though?"
"Of course," I said and got out my credit card.
He rung everything up and I paid for it. I grabbed the box and drinks, and set them in my passenger seat. I grabbed my water and gulped some down on the way back.
Once I got there, I grabbed out three bags of the chips, picked up the drinks, and went inside with my stuff. I reached the apartment, unlocked and opened the door, the set everything down on the kitchen table. Both boys are out cold. Saeran is on the couch and Saeyoung is on the bed. I grabbed a spare blanket and covered Saeran with it. Then I went to the bathroom and washed up for bed.
I finished there and went back to the kitchen. Thankfully there was a piece of loose-leaf paper sitting around and a pen by it's side. On it I wrote that a bag per person and whose drinks are whose. I also added that the chips are meant as a snack after breakfast has gone by, in case they wake up before me.
I set the pen down, took one last drink of my water, then headed for the bed. I happily laid down beside Saeyoung and kissed his cheek, as I told him I would.
"Anika," he whispered.
"I'm here, Saeyoung. I always will be," I whispered to him and closed my eyes.
I fell asleep easily tonight. Saeyoung held me close to his body. I buried my face into his chest and hugged him. I enjoy the sensation of being next to someone that cares and worries for me. I enjoy falling asleep to the sound of his heartbeat.
I want this to last. I would give anything to stay with him. Saeyoung gives me life and someone to talk to. That's what I need. Yeah any guy can do that, but something about the way Saeyoung does it... I strongly believe that I have fallen hopelessly in love with him, and I can only hope he feels the same way. Whether it be now or in the future.
