I hate fairy tales. They always depict an outcome that satisfies its audience. Perhaps I hated them because I wanted my own life to be like them but I ain't that lucky. My story almost resembles a complicated nightmare with ups and downs. Many would say it started when I became the legal age to drink but I would argue that and say it started at my birth. Allow me to elaborate.

My father and mother were decedents of the Quileute tribe which basically means they were shapeshifts or if you want to put it more simply, werewolves. I had an older brother, Hunter, who followed in our parents footsteps and became one himself. Our mother ended up passing when I was younger so I don't remember much about her except for the fact that she was the only person to keep my father under control.

I was practically raise by my father and brother. My father was the head of our werewolf pack in the northern Washington area. When he died, my brother took over and led the pack against vampires who dined on humans.

My brother and I were happy for a short while until I turned 21. Shortly after my birthday, I was diagnosed with cancer. I was sent to a hospital in Forks, Washington where I began treatment. Carlisle Cullen was my doctor. I can't say anything negative about that man. He is an amazing doctor who did everything he could to help me get better. He always visited me and always remained hopeful. My brother would always tell me that I was going to kick cancer's butt.

However, reality has a way of disappointing us. The truth was that after several surgeries and treatments, I was not getting any better. I was given months to live at the rate I was deteriorating. My brother was in shambles. He lost our parents and was on the verge of losing me too. When he discovered that Carlisle was a vampire he begged him to turn me. I couldn't belive that my brother would put aside his morals to save me.

Carlisle was hesitant to accept my brother's offer and explained the implications but in a moment of desperation my brother urged and accepted my new fate. It was later decided that Carlisle would turn me.

I remember the night that Carlisle turned me. His fangs sank deep into my neck and the pain was excruciating. I was able to bear it though. At the end of it all I ended up becoming a vampire with youthful looks, my silky brown hair, and red eyes.

I was given a second chance to live. Carlisle was a huge help in assisting me with acclimating to being a vampire. The contacts were the worse of all the things he taught me. When I returned home, my brother's pack wanted nothing to do with me but after some time they came around especially when I became a "vegetarian" vampire.

Life returned to normal for my brother and I. I practically repaid my brother by caring for him. I associate normal with a fairy tale because in my experience it doesn't last long.

One afternoon, I had returned home from the grocery store and saw the pack surrounding the house. I left everything in the car and rushed over to the pack, only to discover that my brother was dead. It was a sight that no one should endure. I felt as if I had cancer all over again.

I later determined that the Volturi had him murdered to send me a message that werewolves and vampires should live separate lives . They will forever my my enemies!

It didn't take the Volturi long before they dispatched Jane and Alec to recruit me. I instantly declined the offer.

I returned to Forks where the Cullen's took me in. It was there that I discovered that my blook cells were still in my tissues and that I would live the rest of my life as a newborn vampire. There is no explanation for it. Only that something didn't go right during my transformation. Since I am a perpetual newborn my life became more difficult as I struggled to control my urges. In time I managed to develop "powers." I was like Alice's foresight or Edward's telepathy. My power is factored as telekinesis, allowing my mind to control beings and objects.

Time passed and I realized that I could no longer stay in Forks. I made the decisions to tour the world so I left. I remained in contact with the Cullen's though. They were the only family I had left. I thought boring would over take my immortal life. I never expected things to get much more complicated.

One person ended up transforming my dreadful vampire existence into something worthwhile.

His name is Seth Clearwater.
