A mix of six {on hold}

The almost kiss

Right as I'm handing Ricky his phone back Jax Conor and Declan come back with the towels. Declan gives me a weird look as Jax drapes a rowel around my shoulders, I smile at Jax then give Declan the 'I'll tell you later' look. After a couple awkward moments Trevor breaks the silence by suggesting we play volleyball, everyone but me Jax and Evie replays enthusiastically. I'm horrible at basically all land sports especially those involving flying objects. Conor Declan Kalina Evie and Jax disagree, but Evie and Jax know that Im actually really bad at volleyball.

"Um, actually could we play a different game?" Kalina asks them all.

"No," I say. "I mean, it's fine let's just play volleyball," I say as I start off towards a net. Everyone just exchanges weird looks before just shrugging it off and following me. After a couple of games and me 'hugging' the sand I decide to just ref. A little bit after I leave Jax joins me.

"We could have played a different game ya know," Jax says as he gets an Arizona out of his bag.

"No, everyone was really excited to play. I'm not going to take that away from them," I explain as I take a sip of Jax's Arizona.

"Your to nice T," he sighs as he turns towards the game. After about an hour and a half of watching everyone play volleyball, while me and Jax talked, we all decided to go in and get something to eat. We all go up to kalina's Evie's Conor's Declan's Jax's and my room, because we have a living room, and order four pizzas. One cheese one pepperoni one Hawaiian and one barbecue chicken. Once the pizza arrives we all sit in a circle around the coffee table.

"Let's play truth or dare!" Trevor screams. "Ok, hm," Trevor says as he rubs a fake beard and looks at all of us. "Sam! Truth or dare?!"

"Um, ima go with dare."

"Ok, I dare you to kiss Kalina!"

"I see we're getting up and personal," I say smirking at Sam and Kalina. Sams cheeks turn even more pink if that's possible, and Kalina just stares at the floor. Suddenly I remember something, Conor. What was he going to think! He really liked Kalina and I know Kalina likes Conor to. I look between Sam Kalina and Conor. "How about I kiss Sam and Kalina kisses Conor?" I announce to everyone.

"But a dares a da-" Declan starts to say, but is cut off when Evie just glares at him.

"Ya I'm fine with that," Trevor shrugs as he takes another slice of pizza. Kalina turns to Conor since he's right next to her and she pauses for a second.

Kalina's POV.

We were like an inch apart, I had never kissed a guy before. I was so nervous, he probably doesn't even like me. But I was glad that Tillie volunteered to kiss Sam for me anyways. I could always rely on her, though when a situation got really bad she had a habit of running away from it. And she has two types of TR and she has OCD, she is the best friend anyone could wish for, and someday a guy is going to be so lucky to call her his own, and. Before I could finish my though Conor crashes his lips into mine.

Evie's POV.

I'm so glad that Tillie offered to kiss Sam instead of having Kalina kiss him. It's so obvious that Conor likes her, and know they look so cute cuddling after their kiss. Now it's time for Sam and Tillie to kiss, I wonder how Jax and Declan are going to deal with this. They already look pretty jealous. Tillie and Sam are just about an inch apart and Tillie is looking pretty hesitant, I know that this is going to be her first kiss and it just feels wrong that her first kiss will be because of a dare. I just feel that she deserves so much better than this. Before even realizing it I push Sam out of the way.

"We'll I don't know about you guys I'm getting bored. How about we watch a movie!" I suggest dragging Tillie after me to get some blankets.

"Thanks ev," she whispers to me.

"No prob T, glad that I could help." I smile as I walk back into the living room.

Jax's POV.

I was so glad that Evie stepped in before anything happened, Tillie deserves way more than a dared kiss. She deserves to be taken out on a nice date with a nice guy after the perfect day, then maybe, just maybe if the guy is lucky, have a kiss with her. Before my mind wonders off to much Tillie and Evie return with bundles of blankets. After they pass out all of the blankets Evie goes and sits on the floor next to Jc, and I pat the spot next to me for Tillie.

"Thanks for saving me a spot," she smiles as she sits down draping a blanket around us. I pull her closer to me and she snuggles into my side, I was in heaven. It might seem like a 'just friends' thing to her, but for me it meant so much more.
