Let me set the stage for you:
-16 year old girl
-Wakes up to the annoying sound of her alarm clock to either be late or to go to the bathroom
-goes downstairs and gets greeted by their mom or dad
-eats breakfast
-goes to HER FIRST DAY OF HER NEW SCHOOL! YAY! (By the way, the main character has to be REEEEEALLY unhappy about her new school, before she even gets there)
-either meets two girls who become her best friends (because all friend groups have to be trios in this world) or makes no friends at all because no one wants to associate themselves with someone they haven't even talked to before
-becomes the number one loser after a falling out with the queen bee of the school
-develops a crush for the mean girls boyfriend (did I mention there are three mean girls? The queen, the queen's sidekick, and the idiot)
-ends up de-throning the queen and gets with her boyfriend after he realizes how awful his ex was
-life is perfect! Unless there's a book two.......
