Third Person's POV

They look so sweet, so natural. Ang tingin ng mga nandoon, perfect silang dalawa para sa isa't-isa. But the truth is...

They're ALMOST perfect, almost dahil makikita mong may barrier. Because Sydney's falling for James. But there's still a part of her that can't let go of Luke.

They went back to their table, except for Brandon and Jenny. Maybe they went out to see their partners, their one day boyfriend/girlfriend I must say.

They chatted a little bit while eating, everyone's happy...well, almost everyone. James is trying so hard to hide the hurt he's feeling right now, but Sydney felt that. She held his hand and mouthed the words 'I'm sorry'.

But James just shook his head and held her hand tighter. "It's okay." They smiled at each other then they continued eating.

On the other hand, someone's world is slightly falling apart. "She cares for him, more than she cares for me. But no, I won't give her up, not this time. Hindi ngayon lalong alam kong may puwang pa rin ako sa puso niya." He said to himself.

Sam's POV

We were eating and talking happily when Principal went up the stage and called us, I mean Ron and I. My damn friends cheered for us, count Spencer in since he's really excited to hear me sing. That's what he said. That asshole.

Pumunta kami sa backstage, and I swear I wanna smack Principal because of his shitty news.

"You two are going to sing three songs--"

"WHAT!! BUT PRINCIPAL YOU TOLD RON NA ISA LANG ANG IDINAGDAG MO AS PUNISHMENT!"

"Yes, but I changed my mind. Don't worry Samantha, I made sure that you both know the songs I prepared. So, sing for the students now."

Halos mapasabunot ako sa buhok ko!! Damn, two songs are already too much! Pano pa kaya kung three?! THIS IS TORTURE!!!

"Just sing. Your voice is okay, don't overreact. This is just... a song. We'll just sing for them, nothing more, nothing less."

I looked at our friends and started singing. I even saw Spencer pointed Ron and laughed at me. HE'S REALLY ONE HELL OF AN ANNOYING HOTTIE GUY YOU KNOW.

But I swear, looks can be deceiving. Tss

Umupo kami sa seat na nakalagay sa stage. Maybe they prepared these seats since medyo matagal kami sa stage, and Principal knows how much I hate standing for more than five minutes. Tss

Yung kaninang drummer ng band, lumipat sa piano. He started playing...

I looked at Ron, he didn't even give me a glance.

I felt a stab in my chest.

But still I sang like there's nothing wrong.
