I was in science class sitting next to my best friend Sarah. I looked over my shoulder and I saw a boy with chestnut hair and dazzling green eyes was staring at me. "Sarah, who is that boy staring at me?" She looked in his direction and said, "Oh, that's Robbie Kay. He asked you out last year,  you don't remember, y/n?" I shook my head. "He's had a crush on you since forever. He's a great guy."

I looked back at him and Robbie, he looked down at his hands and I thought I saw a faint blush on his cheeks. I thought, "He's so cute."  Before I knew it, class ended and I looked at Robbie, except this time he wasn't in his seat. Feeling disappointed,  thinking that he left for his next class.

I gathered my things and was about to leave with Sarah when I felt a tap on my shoulder. I looked up and saw that it was Robbie! He had the cutest smile on his face.

I smiled at him and blushed. "Hi Robbie.  How are you?" "I'm good, y/n. How are you?" "I'm good." I said, feeling my hands start to sweat." Robbie looked at me with this beautiful green eyes that I swear could see right into my soul.

We walked to my locker and I got my things to go home because it was the end of the day.  "Y/n, I was wondering if you remember me?"I asked you out last year and you said that you would give me your answer this year."

I smiled and said, "Yes, I'd really like that. I'd love to get to know you better." Robbie smiled, "Great! How about I put you up at 7:00? We can have Chinese food and watch Netflix?" "That sounds great, Robbie! I'll see you then."

I don't know what came over me but I leaned in and lightly kissed his cheek. I giggled when I saw that Robbie was blushing a little bit. "I'll see you later, Robbie." "Bye y/n."

When I got home, I called Sarah. I had butterflies in my stomach. "Sarah?" "Y/n, what's up?" I smiled,  "Well, to be honest, I'm going on a date tonight." "Oh my god! With Robbie?" I rolled my eyes and thought, "'Sarah, can you read my mind?"

"As a matter of fact, yes Sarah I am going on a date with Robbie." I couldn't believe that she was so excited for me. "I'm coming over right now and helping you get ready!"

She came over and we went upstairs to look for something for me to wear on my date. As soon as Sarah found a red dress, she smiled. "Yes! This is what you're wearing tonight. You will look gorgeous, y/n. Red is also Robbie's favorite color."
