My best friend Sarah, who also worked at the castle; caught my staring. "You know, y/n, you and Robbie would be the perfect couple." I looked at her and said, "Sarah, it's not that simple. I'm nothing more than a handmaiden and Robbie's a prince. We aren't meant to be together."
I looked back at him and with Robbie coming closer, I got nervous and knocked over the bucket of water at my feet and it went all over. I looked up at him and said, "Oh my goodness! Your highness please forgive me! It was an accident and it won't happen again. Please forgive me!" I said, as I started tearing up.
"Hey, hey, it's ok. There's no need to cry. It was an accident. Let me help you." Robbie said as he helped me up. "Thank you, your highness." I said, blushing. He smiled, "Please, call me Robbie." He took my hand and kissed it. "What's your name?" "Y/n" "It's very nice to meet you, y/n. I hope to see you again." Robbie said, as he kissed my hand again.
I stood there, in awe of the boy. Little did I know that he felt for me what I feel for him.
