I remember it just like it just like it was yesterday. I was at a party at my friend Sarah's house and she introduced me to the man who would later become my husband. His name was Robbie Kay and the first two things that I noticed about him was his amazing smile and his beautiful green eyes.

Sarah smiled and said, "Y/n, this is Robbie Kay." "Robbie, this is my best friend y/n l/n." We both smiled and shook hands. Sarah excused herself so Robbie and I could have time to get to know each other.

Robbie went into Sarah's house to get us something to drink. He came back out with two cans of Coca cola. "So, how long have you known Sarah?" I asked. "I met her at a convention and she was very nice. She told me a lot about you and I was a little disappointed that you weren't there because I really wanted to meet you." I smiled, "Well, you're here now."

He nodded, "Yeah I am and I couldn't be happier." I blushed, "I'm glad.  Little did I know that Robbie and I would be married years later.

60 years later

Robbie and I are celebrating our wedding anniversary with our children Serena and Anthony.  "What's the secret to a 60 year marriage? Serena asked. Robbie smiled, "There really is no secret. I can't believe that I have had 60 wonderful years with this amazing woman. Y/n, I love you so much. You've given me two beautiful children and I have made many mistakes in my life but asking you to bey wife was the best decision I ever made." I had tears in my eyes.

"Robbie, I love you with all of my heart." I kissed him. "Here's to more happy years together."
